Yep poorly loaded ammo can cause chambering issues (this is true of all rounds that's why they all case gages) I have never had any other problems but I normally lose my brass before it gets reloaded more than a couple times. That said what do reloading issues have to do with a rule change to allow a round that easily makes powder factor and had no advantage over the 40sw round that dominates the division? It's like saying 9 major is dangerous in one type of custom 2011 but safe in another. That rule is there so as to not obsolete most of the guns in the division this doesn't even come close to doing that, the sig is still a inferior to the 40 for limited major so all we have done is allow shooters to be less handicapped

If we were discussing muzzleloaders, air rifles or benchrest rifles, your comment may have some merit. We aren't... In the context of a 3G Hoser, splitting hairs over milliseconds is inane. I don't think anybody really cares about triggers for the hoser targets, even I can hit those quickly with a crappy mill spec trigger. Where good triggers help is on the longer range targets.

Yep you'll have to download most 9mm guns with several exceptions, but on the other hand most 40sw pistols will be able to hold 15 without mag extensions, that may have been a consideration as there are a few of those on the market.

A general rule of thumb is 4 moa out larger (so 8" or larger at 200) but it can an does vary.

Work out the percentage based on all classifiers recorded each year. The report shows a percentage for 2014 but not for the other two years. Chart.png It could be gun cost driving shooters to cheaper divisions but that would not explain L10, and SS also losing ground, and limited gaining the most (it's not like limited guns are cheap) most likely the percentage is down because with a growing shooter population most don't start in open, the average new shooter shoots up with a gun that either fits in production or limited and many start in limited anyway.

I would say that iss the USPSA way of looking at things, IDPA tends to us a unless we said you can then you cant kind of rule interpretation

I run my fastest splits with a 38super 1911 loaded to minor .14's- .15's at about 5yd while running stages, with my GLOCKS (and everything else) I am a little slower .15's-.16's on similar targets, it would take a very large number of .01 faster splits to make a noticeable difference in your score.

the XD has a pretty high bore axis so it will flip more than than a 1911. that said it really doesn't matter where and how far it goes as long as it comes back to where it started.

Did you fire it after installing the locking set screw? I think you can inadvertently move the first set screw when you are tightening the second one.

I think in terms of pure felt recoil a heavy slide can feel like it has less because the impulse is spread out a little longer due to the lower slide velocity. I know with the same bullet at the same power factor my full profile 1911 has a softer almost lazy feel compared to my Tanfoglios, I also run faster spits with the 1911.

one option with the 930 is to just stuff the one on the lifter down and close the bolt over it (Ghost load) then rack the one out of the chamber. but realisticaly any way you deal with this it will be a cluster when done on the clock.

No the 22rd 40sw mags are quite a bit shorter
