I really wanted to make this match, but it looks like it was last held in 2018. Anyone have any different information?

Right. Gotta decide if this is going to be a dedicated optic slide. If so I’ll just mill the slide to match the rear of the dot

Kyle, would it be possible to do a benefit auction of a firearm somewhere on the forum? Recipient is a 9 y.o. unofficial grandson of mine who has stage 3 cancer. I auctioned the rifle off once and the winner donated it back to be re-auctioned again. I own the rifle, it is new and I will cover FFL and shipping fees. Let me know, thanks, Greg -
Yes. Next question, lol

Anyone can volunteer, you don’t have to be a Merchant Mariner. They have a work week in the spring and fall for both deck and engine room. You live on the ship in port, all meals provided. They like everyone to do 40 during the work weeks before joining the yearly cruise. Just to see if you are not an ass and can get along with everyone, and that you are suited for life aboard.

Awesome!! I can’t wait

The absolute coolest thing was when one of the crew who has ridden nearly every trip the ship had taken was sitting in the control tower with me, told me “you’re in a pretty select group, there’s probably been more men on the moon than have driven this ship since she came home” Pretty humbling moment

Last year I got the call to volunteer aboard the LST 325, WW II tank ship as one of the pilots. I boarded at Decatur on a Tuesday afternoon. Was given a tour, and shown to my room. We departed Wednesday morning and arrived in Evansville, the ships home port, on Friday evening. Met a few of the crew and felt very welcomed. An amazing opportunity that I will never forget. The average age of the crew was 71.4yrs. Youngest 48, oldest 96. Sad that younger people aren’t getting involved as much as you would hope. The ship is amazing, and the story of its life and recovery is a great read, written by one of the people who brought it back from Greece. “Bringing Back a Hero” is the book. I was scheduled to return again this year, but COVID has cancelled the years trip.

Shoot anything you have until you check out many different ones. I’m shooting my $300 Benelli Nova and keeping up pretty well with the $3-4000 guns I see.

Eric, did you get to try the 115’s? What was the load? Has anyone tried this powder at minor? Would love to find a powder to use for both major/minor greg

I am running nothing but Burris fast fire threes, on my dotted Guns. Never ever an issue. I’ve seen too many people at the couple of nationals that I have worked having trouble with the DP pro

Powder measure quick mount
gmantwo replied to gmantwo's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
My 1050 is so tight after backing off the screws I have to pry the halves apart with a flat blade. That’s why I’m interested -
My primers seat .010-11 above the base. If not I sometimes get misfires. I want those suckers going bang when I pull the trigger

I see a spring loaded powder measure block that is no tools removal. Anyone used one of these? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F273540685189
