  1. I use a HiVis .250 in my 610. easy to put in, It just slides right in against a spring. 10 second job.
  2. One of my favorite guns is an old Rem 721 in .270 that my Grandpa bought in the early 50's. Still shoots like a dream.
  3. Very nice, I have a special place in my heart for snubies.
  4. Nice job Cliff! Dave, you have to be from the Area to be the Area champ. Jerry is from Area 4 I believe.
  5. I have been using w231 with mg165 bullets. These make about 170pf from both my 610 and xd5".
  6. They are all CRAP! I could care less about these show, waste of electricity to me.
  7. Congrats Dave and Darcy! Now just start buying the the 4th shooting rig belt and ammo!
  8. Nice video! This is about 45 miles from me. Pretty cool place. http://www.nationaleaglecenter My family had a very nice time there last summer.
  9. Best of luck finding any factory ammo in stock anywhere.
  10. Pull on it strait outward, while slightly turning it as you pull. Nothing to it.
  11. Man, and I love unfluted cylinders on N frames! +1 on loving the unfluted cylinder!
  12. I've been shooting a 6.5inch 610 for 2yrs now and love it. Recoil with major loads is very soft and hardly raises the muzzle. On reloading the 610 you do have to pay more attention to your moons orientation to the charging holes. I've found it best to "see it into" the cylinder. I did put a fairly aggressive champher on the charging holes. Just make sure you do not cut to deep and get into the area that supports the case web. Wellcome and good luck! Jon
  13. Mmmm....... IA style jungle run? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNLu2gY2-uU Sounds like fun. Better put flags on your moonclips!
  14. Once you heat it and get it adjusted have some ice water to dip it into while you are holding it in the proper position. This should help it from creeping or sagging.
  15. I've been using zippered bags I found at Home Depot. Something like these but mine are a bit different. But you get the idea. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores...03+90401+527194
  16. Jay! Yep, started shooting my 610 summer of 07'. I do shoot my other stuff too, but almost allways got the revo going. Its been a blast! You should try it, ya might like it. When I shoot over in Holmen I normal shoot revo and something else too. Got to make the most of the drive over.
  17. Mgood, Show no fear, there is a sweet 4" 610 in the classifieds with everything you need to get started. Come on over to the round side. We may not have cookies, but we normally do have beer!
  18. We had our first club match last saturday and I ended up being the only revo shooter to finish. 79 shooters to start, 76 finished the match. Overall finish. 47 Jon A55156 B Revolver Major 196.3148 39.27% Stage 1: 39 Galde, Jon 58 B Revolver 131 10 35.49 3.4094 53.1323 33.21% Stage 2: 50 Galde, Jon 58 B Revolver 110 0 29.30 3.7543 40.7073 33.92% Stage 3: 56 Galde, Jon 58 B Revolver 140 20 40.18 2.9866 41.2311 25.77% Stage 4: 19 Galde, Jon 58 B Revolver 27 0 4.28 6.3084 21.2351 60.67% Stage 5: 28 Galde, Jon 58 B Revolver 55 0 8.06 6.8238 40.0090 66.68% First 3 stages where long courses, last to short. Stage 4 was paper, popper (which activated disappearing drop turner) and paper. Stage 5 was Quicky Mart with mandatory reload. I am happy with my overall finish, had to give up a lot on long stages due to standing reloads (the mikes didn't help either).
  19. One of the guys I shoot with loves these for his 625. http://shop.blackbulletsinternational.com/...amp;productId=6
  20. Hope everyone has a great one!
  21. I was ROing the kid and at first look I was thinking "What the Hell" then I was thinking this is great. Need is the mother of all invention. I was proud of him for putting the effort forth to shoot the match no matter what. My hats off to him. Red Green lives on.
  22. LMAO! yea 80 would be nice but 50's was like a little bit of heaven. The cars were parked just about everywhere. In the lot, on the grass, behind the storage shed, anywhere they could find a spot.
  23. Hop, This is a bit off topic but my son wanted me to ask you what you put down for hair color on your drivers license? Odd question, but he is a bit off at times. :roflol:
  24. We had our first match of 2009 at our club today. Our annual Blizzard match. Well it started out about 36 degrees this morning but got into the upper 50's by noon. This is the nicest day we have had here this year. Sunny no wind, it was awesome. We ended up having 78 or 79 shooters show up! Everything ran smooth, good stages, and even good food after the match! It was a great day, I got to shoot with my son, my good friends and even met up with a guy I used to shoot with about 10yrs ago from North Dakota who was down visiting his family in my area and stopped over to shoot the match. Life is GOOD!
