  1. 24 pounds!! You're rich!! And you will love it I'm sure.....
  2. It's accurate enough that I'd bet when it was available, better than 50% of Limited shooters on this forum were using it.
  3. All parents know this, but I have to say it....right now most everything Jake see's is a "ball" and it's the clearest word he's ever said. And when he says it, "to me" it sounds like Angels Singing......it is the cutest, most beautiful word I've ever heard spoken.... Like
  4. I hear what you are saying and I truly understand and appreciate it. We all have our personal taste and most builders have their signature look. I think Lone Star will come up with their's just like others have. I like being able to look at a pistol and have a general idea of who built it.

Yep. I've got a ZEV G17 Dragonfly and that's exactly how I would describe it. 22 ounces........
  6. It will be here in 6 months in FS Magazine
  7. Very slick and clean looking pistol.....
  8. Whatever it takes to keep the best shooting forum on the WWW going!!
  9. We'll be watching you closely Youngeyes!!
  10. Agreed. It also makes it much easier for the bad guys to back a pick-up up to it and load it. And in the case of one thats bolted down, all they have to do is wrap a chain around it and pull it loose with the truck.

  12. I really think the weight matters a lot less if you're carrying in a full power patrol rig, aka double belt, sam brown, etc. Now if he's a detective, carrying like I do, with a single pants style belt, the weight matters more in my opinion. The X5 would be a nice option, especially if they offer it with an aluminum frame.
  13. Up to you, man. If you read my above post, it was an attempt to help you, and show you some other places to focus on. Then again, if youre done....youre done. Mine too
  14. I've done it, but none of them were stock STI 2011s. Years ago I carried a Tactical 5.0 in 40 and Eagle in 38 Super, both of which had reliability packages from Tripp. Since then, I've carried Infinity Widebodys in 40 and 9mm. They worked great, were very heavy and I was meticulous about mag maintenance. It is well known that the 1911/2011 platform "can" be finicky with factory length 9mm and 40S&W ammo. So, if you decide to do it, test the snot out of it first.
  15. dskinsler83, I can see why you are saying what your are saying, but it may be that he simply doesn't have the time to go into great detail about the product or that he doesn't have the verbiage to do so properly. Or, maybe not......Either way, I've read enough of Johnny Glock info that I'm interested in one of his triggers too. I just haven't got around to spending the money yet.
  16. Yeah I worried about this rule for a minute when I was trying to lean my Ghost out too far. So, I started wearing it in more of a production manner, which is actually how I carry at work. With that said, I've NEVER seen anyone measure anyone at a match and I (like you) have seen plenty of shooters that "appeared" to be in violation. IIRC, the Bladetech DOH is even more than 2".
