  1. The better grip, with the most options is the double stack, and I'm sure they make 10 rounds mags

Yeah, I won't be surprised to hear that we've ordered about 4K of them for my Department.....everybody I talked to, who has shot it, was impressed. Personally, I hate shooting the P226 DAK we are issued. But, it has NEVER failed unless I caused it to, by loading empty brass for failure drills. They are battle tough.
  4. The only difference will be the weight of the bullets right? Or, maybe you don't need a wide body since you can't take advantage of the high cap design. I still think I would prefer the wide body, because they design the mags
  5. As was previously stated, they are interchangeable with 9mm and 38 Super.
  6. Infinity Firearms makes a non-pivoting billet grip safety
  7. Well, I do tend to agree with you. Some people shoot Glocks better than 1911 platform pistols. I watched a low D shooter run a stock G22 faster than most others shooting 1911s at a match on Can You Count.....including me!! I still say ZEV and that doesn't shock me about Salient. Read this about triggers.. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=197821&page=3&hl=%2Bglock+%2Btrigger+%2Bupgrade#entry2284237
  8. Dang I wish I would have stumbled onto this a tad earlier.........
  9. Nice to see you coming back......I will be a few months behind you!!
  10. Measure the feeds lips. The new design has slightly longer feed lips among other things.
  11. What doesn't she like? I'm genuinely curious as a 2015 Hyundai Genesis is the car I'm planning on. I will ask her for specific and get back to you....
  12. Oh, yeah I'm over the Germans......and their maintenance costs after warranty. I love to drive BMWs, but I hate to pay for them and maintain them. That's the primary reason I'm looking a small, luxury Japanese vehicles.
  13. Yeah, my sister in law has one and is already tired of it. Keep in mind, this was her first fancy new car in years and within two years, she is ready to look at something else. But you're right, nice looking car....
  14. Well, I drove the Infiniti QX50 today and OMG, is was an awesome little car. They're going to drop it off here is a little bit for her to drive this evening. Obviously I can't predict how the long term reliability will be. But I prefer it to the RDX by a long ways......In my opinion, way more stylish, and a beast on the highway..
  15. It's certainly not a manly vehicle, but I think it will make a decent little car to get to matches more efficiently. I will be driving my wife's X5 for the remaining two years of her lease. She was going over on her miles. Since I have a take home work vehicle, I can get the miles evened out over the next two years.
  16. Need, no. But it looks awesome and does remove some weight.
  17. Looks primarily. While I believe they are great cars, we don't care for the look of their small SUVs. My sister has one, very nice car....
  18. TTI has changed the base pad enough that you can use your finger to move the little pin and remove the base pad. I prefer the size of the TTI vs the blocky Dawson's too.
  19. From what I've heard from people in the industry the manufacturer/dealer relationship is very disfuncional all the way down to the compensation of the mechanics doing the work; I've been told the mechanics are paid on a piece work basis with warranty work being the least and frivolous maintenance work being the most, which explains the upselling to things like "brake system flush" and "that filter is starting to look dirty". That makes a lot of sense and explains my experience.
  20. If you're primarily shooting 3gun, you're probably going to build it in 9mm right? I'd go with a 5" gun mainly because you will most likely be using kydex style holsters. Don't get me wrong, I love my 5.4, but in 9mm its just extra weight that you don't need.
  21. I brought home an RDX AWD last night for her to drive. It drives great, period. It just lacks a little in the "looks" Department. I'm going to drive a QX50 today and will bring it home if they'll let me. The RDX isn't completely out of the running yet. I really like the Honda/Acura reputation for reliability. Al503, I'm experiencing the same warranty avoidance right now with my F150. Weird. Back in the day, Dealerships loved to fix things under the warranty. Jake, I sat in the TLX and I liked it. But she doesn't want a straight up car.
  22. I'm shopping for a new commuter car for my wife. She's an executive type that has been driving BMWs for the last several years, but we're looking to move her out of the German car lease.... I've driven the Acura RDX and was impressed. I like the look and sound of Infiniti.......obviously!! But it also sounds like Infiniti out powers the competition.....
