  3. dave is probably correct. the plunger pin was probably a softer metal than the thumb safety. i've beeh shooting 1911 types for a long time, and i have never seen this type of malfunction. lynn

  6. has anyone ever had a malfunction when the thumb safety plunger pin was gauled and stuck inside the plunger houseing? a friend of mine's edge did that this past weekend. i punched the pin from the slide stop side and replace the defective pin, now the gun is fine. how often does this happen? lynn

  14. course discriptions can specify starting positions further than 1 meter. the 1 meter is for the competitor during the course of fire. lynn
