  1. THS Sounds like you need to get a good smith OR learn what bullet is best for your gun. All my SV's run perfect.
  2. The dinner scene was so gross, I bet they had a blast making it.
  3. Left to right both times, nice and easy cadence, seeing every shot. I went for the A's, mag changes were not that good. I thought I should have shot it in the low 6's but I slowed down a bunch on the zebra target. Limited 7.01 60 points 8.559 hf L10 7.12 58 points 8.146 hf
  4. LOL, I've done that too many times with my open gun, draw, turn on dot, blast away
  5. What, no one listed : The Usual Suspects Ronin Rambo (only part 1) The Professional Heat Scarface
  6. Jeeper, You can shoot without a fiber optic, it isn't the same as your batteries going out on your dot I HATE reloading. I HATE having to buy another 15K bullets to make through till Nats. But I LOVE 2 SHOOT
  7. Agreed with detlef, I experemented a bunch with different springs (11-16, RecoilMaster, Sprinco) I never noticed any measurable difference.
  8. The oregonipsc site is down, they are changing the server.
  9. Timers are essential. How else would you know which ways are faster for you, and when you are fast enough? I use them most of the time, if not to track the time, to get used to the pressure of performing on demand. I have a Pact club and a CED I like the CED better, but it cost twice as much, so starting out, buy as much of a timer as you can afford
  10. I'm going to shoot BOTH, one in each hand, Ok 1 at a time, but back to back baby!
  11. Dang, got M in L10 by less than 1% Time to be on the bottom of the heap again Oh well, we can't all be like Team Sand (baggin) Captain and be hovering at the top of our class and be shooting scores 2 classes higher
  12. PS It is an URBAN LEGEND FOR SURE I like to content though.
  13. The following has been attributed to State Representative Mitchell Kaye from GA. This guy should run for President. "We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights." ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything. ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be. ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy. ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes. ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care. ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair. ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure. ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful. ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights. ARTICLE X: This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you are from, English is our language. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from. (lastly....) ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!!!! If you agree, share this with a friend. No, you don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don't. I just think it's about time common sense is allowed to flourish.
  14. Good point Skywalker. What is fast? Is it breaking the shot will less visual input than you need by using the point and shoot method, or just enough to call every shot and no more? I think the truely fast, see most everything, and can even recall alot of it, because they are aware. I know after the Oregon Open the stages I shot the best (fastest) I remember a whole lot about everything in the whole stage. That is usually the case for me, when I am ULTRA aware I go faster, and it seems much slower when I am doing. No chaos means no hesitation or extra movements. Just my 2 cents
  15. Above 130 is a small part of the population
  16. FYI some my Winchester that didn't go boom had no primer explosive in them (I use a 1050, so seating depth isn't an issue.) And from those that I have shoot with this isn't common, but it has happened to them before also.
  17. 50 points - stupid idiot, man lots of "geniuses" here
  18. Federal, I have gotten too many bad Winchesters.
  19. Eric did whoop some ass! He beat 4 GM's (3 limited 1 coming out of a shooting break) in the process, not bad for an A class shooter This is the first match in a while that I made no totally stupid mistakes, 1 wrong decision on a stage, no penalties, no mikes, a bit too slow. But with 8 stages I figured to keep it nice and easy. It was our season finale and my last L10 match for awhile (going back to open with my new foo-foo blaster) so I wanted to win every stage and have no penalties, and I did both in L10, and won my class against the Limited guys, 6th Limited overall. I didn't see as much as I needed to, I need to work on that. Eric spanked me in the shoot-off, the 1st one was pretty close, but I hade to make-up the draw shot, and I was too pyched out. The second run I just pooched bad. But all in all it was a fun match and well run. Next time, Eric we'll have to make the ports a bit higher for you
  20. Bring it baby, I don't have those splits, dot, or mag capacity, but I will give it a go with my L10.
  21. Any excuse to get a 1050 is a good excuse in my book
