I find it isn't that hard to get used to new guns. maybe a week or two of handling them. BTW SV's are cool too Julien I love my tactical version LOL

Where the eyes go, the gun must follow. I'd be willing to wager you aren't forcing yourself to ever focus on the close targets. Look for the A and shoot the A. You know you won't miss, so you are having trouble making yourself look at those targets, just point an shoot those .10's At least that is my problem. But try that after the Oregon Open, I am shooting L10 and have a harder time keeping up with you open dudes with the 10 round mags This is my last L10 match for awhile, Back to Open and Limited. Woohoo!!! Big stick here I come.

If you like that feel drop a Recoil Master in there and your jaw will drop more. It is super light and super quick.

I got my limited slot a couple weeks ago from the waiting list. The last I heard from the Match Director is that they are going to have about 450 shooters in Limited and 450 in Open, and that the waiting list as of 3 weeks ago was about 600 in limited class and I think a bit less in Open. FYI I signed up the day they opened the list.

This reminds me of a stage we shot a month ago, 4 targets at 2 yards, two shoots each, reload 2 shoots each. It was amazing that 3 of the 5 A-M class shooters in ours squad tanked it. But it was sure fun, and since it was a club match we let the "tankers" reshooting it for fun It is funny watching people get so jazzed up about getting to open the throttle all the way

.40 Limited is the cheapest. I have a good deal on a lightly used STI if you are in the market. I would invest in a Square deal from Dillon, and learn to reload, it isn't hard. You can get brass CHEAP and reloading will cost you 8-10 bucks per thousand, depending on how many components you buy at a time. Don't buy any gun you can't afford to shoot.
