  1. Cool If you get some hits on paper I'll even be more impressed
  2. How big of a mag? Limited legal = 17 (16+1)
  3. CR Speed fits everything and it covers the end of the gun. I personally care about that. I've seen more guns fall out of ghost like holster from people running into props while working stages when the forget to lock them in.
  4. Entertaining? Reality check maybe A sub 3 sec run with a draw 6 shots reload 6 shots (and not hitting anything) is no small undertaking The math is much easier than acheivement
  5. I got convinced to go to a wider front sight last year and I (for whatever reason) pick it up faster, I still have a thin sight on my single stack and it works fine but I shoot tighter groups with the wider FS. Don't know if it makes a "real" difference, I've tried 5 front sights and they all seem to do the job.
  6. Or work on his weaknesses ... like my weakhand shooting
  7. Rhino would be a "major contender" if he spent his posting time practicing
  8. You could try shooting the timer, the impact of the pellet might trigger it. (sorry I couldn't resist)
  9. Maku Mozo - do not be deluded Well lubed guns last longer, if you constanstly strip the lube out, it doesn't stay where it needs to. No de-greasers ever touch my pistols (excpet the sights to reblue.) A cotton swab is good enough. I'm sure all that cleaning won't hurt them too much though
  10. I used to be anal about cleaning my guns, Now I add more lube when the slide starts to slow down. My guns work. I guess I adhere to the BE method of cleaning.
  11. WOW, the best match sight I've seen yet. The models are awesome!!!
  12. Ditto, if you are nailing that in matches you are doing great.
  13. The Glock is an ugly gun anyway If you want cool factor hardchrome baby
  14. How about an ar15 or a m1a (heavy metal)? A pump rifle would be pretty slow.
  15. That is what the extra holes are for They tame the wild beast. If done right it is as flat as any other open gun I've shot, very similiar to the SX2 Pro (which 2 of the local guys I shoot with have)
  16. A good compromise in my experience. Mine has a few extra holes. I think the wisest thing to do is to try before you buy
  17. All the SV tubes (I like better than STI tubes) I've got have always worked, I may just be lucky. Putting the witness holes isn't as easy as it sounds, they are very hard metal. If they puke with Gram's new style follower and springs, get them tuned, if they don't then don't have them tuned. Just my 2 cents. ps. You should have atleast one tuned mag from Beven, 'cause they are cool.
  18. I will when mine comes in in 3 weeks
  19. Yep, it is the ticket if you are only going to reload one caliber on a budget. http://dillonprecision.com but by it through BE if you decide to get one
  20. If you are going to shoot USPSA, reloading is something to seriously consider. You can get setup with a Dillon Square deal very reasonably. The initial cost may seem great, but you save so much on ammo cost in the long run. You can then make the load fit your needs. You might even find a willing soul at your local club to reload with to start off DVC and welcome.

  22. I made them out of one piece of plasic. I made a template out of thick paper and cut piece of wood the size of the belt and mag I want it to fit. A basic t shaped piece of plastic works for about any mag out there. I would have had to get a crate of Kydex to get it at our local supplier
