Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. yep that sux, not sure whats worse, that or you order the correct thing and its damaged during shipping, and you have to take the package to ups or whoever for inspections, and wait weeks for another product, or money back.
  2. what is it about people who use craig's list, the want to talk you way down below any reasonable offer, then they say they will call you saturday to come look at it and they never call. This happends to me alot on craigs list, via email's and phone. Do they have nothing better to do then to haggle prices for fun! think I'll just skip craigs list and go back to craig's list
  3. oh man the Daytona 500 this year was torture, I was up the night before all night dealing with a computer virus, so I decided to stay up fo the race, and then sleep right after. AAAAAAAARRRRGGHHHHHHH!!!!@#@#$!@#$ worst race ever for that to happen... 2 or three 5 hour energie's later and near the end of the race I was dealing with delerium lol.

    Rap

Hate it, hate it, hate it notice I didn't put the word "music" after it.. because its not, somebody who cann't play any musical instrument, cannot read or write music, is not a musician.
  6. ' when he says SIG SS 226 9mm does he mean stainless steel, or sport stock?
  7. Jesse Thanks <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I recently shot in my 3rd local match, it was the first one I got the results for. It had one qualifier, and it was High Standards 03-18, I came in at %37.409 in production according to that calculator. Is High Standards an easier one or harder one? Rikarin did C on her other ones so I'm guessin its a bit harder than most? If so maybe I'll be in C after some more qualifiers.
  8. I'm going to save and get a Dillon 550. not knowing what I'm doing yet I have shot twice in Limited, and once in Limited 10 but I think I'll just go production, and make my own minor .40 loads when I get a press.
  9. I see no reason g34/35's with there 5.32 barrel are allowed in US production but the USP expert with its 5.2 barrell is not. I put this post in a different thread before I found this one, hear is a copy of my original thread. QUOTE(spook @ Dec 7 2004, 01:31 AM) AFAIK, the trigger pull weight was put in the rules to prevent PD becoming a division dominated by 2lb. trigger Glocks (or, to put the DA auto on par with the glocks). Now you can pick a gun with a constant 5lb. pull, which some like. Or, a gun with a 5lb. first shot and light follow up shots. AFAIK, the 5" barrel rule that excludes the HK USP Expert, the G34/35 etc. was made before these guns were produced. I'm sure Vince will chime in on this one. I'm not understanding why on the current US production list the glock 34/35's are allowed but the usp expert is not. There is no Trigger pull restriction for US production, the barrel length of the expert is 5.2, the barrel length G34/35 is 5.32. US production clearly states 5.5 is allowed. I understand there both not allowed in IPSC due to there 5' barrell length restriction so why is the glock 34/35's allowed in US production but the HK USP Expert is not? From what I can tell from the rules the USP expert meets the requirments for US production same as the G34/35's and yet the USP expert isn't on the list, am I missing something here? 11. I had a blast! I like it alot, definetly going to be doing this as often as I can afford it. How'd I do? ok on 1st stage I shot(second stage in shoot) got alot of A hits and no no hits, mabe one miss. 2nd stage I got over zealous since it was a little closer and thought I could go faster, I did go faster but I got sloppy.. had 2 or 3 no hits the saying you can't miss fast enough to win is certainly true. LOL 3rd stage I calmed back down and did ok again, no misses I don't think and no no hits. Was more concerned about learning how the shoots go, being safe, learning scoring ect. Kinda hard to tell how you did since everyone shoots the same stages and I don't know if the guy in front of me with the glock 9mm was shooting production or limited, or the buy behind me with the ruger 9mm single stack was shooting production or limited, or limeted 10 but hey, its all about fun anyway! I think there going to email us the results today, I guess It will be on USPSA site in a few days? not sure, since it wasn't a big match dunnot if they post smaller local match results on there or not. going to buy a reloader so I can save money on ammo (/wave's goodbye to tax return check) but It will pay for itself in roughly six months as often as I would like to shoot. can't wait for the next one!
  12. Yep, it is the ticket if you are only going to reload one caliber on a budget. http://dillonprecision.com but by it through BE if you decide to get one BE IS the MAN when it comes to ordering your Dillon!!!!! Do yourself a favor, buy it NOW and start saving NOW! You can load for about .50 on the dollar in a worst case scenario compared to buying even the cheap stuff. The initial expense is a B*TCH, but it pays for itself very quickly! And you'll be able to develop a load which suits your gun best! Wow great, thanks everyone. I will probably get one of those very soon.
  13. Hi, since all production is scored minor no matter what caliber/ammo you have I didn't want to compete against the 9mm, I know I can shoot faster and more accurate with 9mm than .40. so I think I'm going limited/major. Ive tried 3 diff ammo in my gun and the winchesters feed as good as any ive tried so far and are cost effective. I found some ammo at a local gun store I could get for $7.00 a box when buying a case of 500 but I was having to many feed problems.
  14. Hey thanks alot yes I did, I saw some saying winchester white box 180 grain got them major, but the winchester whitebox I have are 165 grain. I know there is 180 grain and 165 grain FMJ winchester both in a white box so that's why I was asking, I didn't want to use the 165''s if it didn't get me major.
