Any 1911 pattern gun that makes weight and fits the box is SS legal regardless of manufacturer unless I missed something

That ability to present the gun to the same point every single time without thought or even the slightest bit of searching for the sights AIN'T EASY!!! I still struggle with that constantly

As I was sitting here this morning I thought I needed to make an entry in my range diary only to find this! Typical. I could make some excuses including work craziness etc as to why I haven't practiced much this week but I won't. I am headed to the gym here in a few minutes. In addition to increasing and improving my practice, I have changed my workouts to improve overall strength and fitness. 3 days a week I have been doing a 5x5 workout. Today will be: A warmup jog on the treadmill and some stretching Squats: 5 sets of 5 reps with 210 Overhead Press: 5 sets of 5 reps with 105 Deadlift: 1 set of 10 reps with 220 This afternoon will either be dryfire or hopefully some livefire if the rain lets up.

I think a used jogging stroller is the way to go. cheap, sturdy and folding

Once something is ingrained into muscle memory, it takes thousands or repetitions to change it. Under stress (like the time in between BEEEEEEP and "If you are finished...") we revert to that muscle memory. If you are seeing improvement and you are practicing perfectly, the change will come, just keep working at it.

Thanks Chris. I will be taking you up on that as it warms up a bit.

You can make B easy this year with a little practice. Sounds good to me!

And a video from later last year to get us started:

I figure its way past time to start one of these. I am hoping to use this thread to document my shooting and am looking for feedback. Be brutally honest...I only have one feeling and you a'int gonna hurt it! Currently I am: 6'2" and 245 lbs. I have lost 15 lbs since December and my weight goal is 220-225 range. I am a pretty big person and don't really care what I weigh, just want to improve my overall fitness and agility in an effort to improve my shooting at the same time. As far as shooting goes, I am at almost 82% in Limited. My goal is to make GM. Again, please, if you see something...tell me. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO OFFEND ME...well it's possible I guess but you would have to work really hard at it. This evening and tomorrow I am going to redesign my dry fire area. It is a little cluttered in the basement and not conducive to including movement in my sessions.

Dan, Addict and I both (Assuming he has the same membership type I do) can take guests to the gym anytime we want and you are welcome to go with me anytime. My best advice for weight loss is this...what we look like is more than 80% about what we eat. I've lost 15lbs since December simply by changing what I eat...only 20 or so more to go.

This close enough? 1st generation Kimber from the custom shop. Aluminum framed, 4" bull barrel with night sights, rounded corners, slim ambi safety, etc

Are you still having issues with extraction? A new extractor may help but you may also want to polish the chamber. It may sound a little crazy but take a bronze bore brush, chuck it up in a cordless drill and use it to polish the chamber...that usually cures the FTE's in an M&P assuming the extractor if clean and functioning correctly.

Email Mike (mike at shootersconnection.com) and he will set you up.

What are the dates for the Classifier matches Corey? -
I believe it boils down to this: This is a game. Period. Of course I am going to try to get every competitive advantage I can get within the rules. Not within the spirit of the rules, WITHIN THE RULES. Because I want to win but I am not a cheater. As a result of this, I spend what i can afford to spend on the things which I believe will help me win. To me the limits on trigger pull and magnetic mag holders seem arbitrary and capricious...but that's just me. None of the arguements I have heard really make a lot of sense as to why these limits are necessary. Neither of them are gonna help me kick Flex's ass in production next time I shoot with him whether they are in force or not for example.

A while back I noticed that one of the places from which I often order shooting stuff and forum sponsor http://www.powerfactorshooting.com/Default.asp was selling pulled bullets from Federal. I had just been to a ballistics seminar hosted by ATK, the parent company of Federal, CCI/Speer and a bunch of others so I knew these were first quality bullets, at least when they were originally produced. I was pretty skeptical about using pulled bullets but the price was really good (less that 10/cents a bullet) so i ordered a thousand to try and figured I would use them for practice. I loaded up a couple hundred and went to try them out. The attached pic was fired offhand out of my 6" Cheely built Limited gun at 20 YARDS!!! All I can say is, WOW! Extremely accurate bullet, they look great and shoot even better. You can't even tell most were pulled. If you are looking for a good quality bullet and a great price, look at PowerFactorShooting and tell Sean that Colin sent you.

You have to upload the pics to your computer and then reduce the size of the pic with something like microsoft paint so that its within the upload size limits. Then you can directly post it on the forum.

Holster marks in HC? Got pics, I didn't know that happened.
