Well, like Matt said, we ordered one! Views/opinions from people I've asked, searches on the internet & of course, people here, made me make the decision to get one. As to the issues that may arise with the transmission, well I can't worry too much about it. Many cars have their issues & I want to enjoy it! I'll post pictures when I get it....in 6 weeks

Thanks for all the replies so far! Wow...I didn't think I'd get so many positive comments. Looking at the reviews, it seems like a pretty good buy. We did notice quite a difference in the regular model & the S model, & am leaning towards the S. wurm: we did go to Motor City Mini...they had a great selection!

HI, I'll most likely be in the market for a vehicle in the near future. The Mini Cooper always has my attention when I see one I know they're pricy & small (which can be good & bad). We test drove one today in both automatic & 6-speed turbo charged. I really liked it. I want to ask: Does anyone here either own one, or know someone who does that can make honest recommendations/opinions on it? Thanks in advance!!!

I like the roller handle. I don't like the ball handle, it hurts my palm after a while.

If you think people are rude in Michigan, you should visit the east. I lived in Philly last summer, and I experienced a serious culture shock at how rude people were. I wouldn't say people in Michigan are rude, I'm just used to people saying "your welcome" I guess, haha.

I can't understand why when you say "thank you" to someone, they say "uh huh". I've noticed (along with my family & friends) that this seems to be common in the U.S. Whats up with that? I also believe in "what goes around comes around". I was given too much money back when purchasing something recently & gave it back. She did say thank you, which was nice.

I'd love to be able to borrow mags, but I've go the Canyon Creek magwell on my gun, so the stock mag base pads don't fit anymore. I'm now using the Henning H-520's for L10. Obviously, it'll have to be good Canadian beer and not the wimpy stuff here in the US. :-) Haha, true. Well, if you decide to go up for the Nats, you'll have a great time. A lot of awesome people there
