  1. Jeeper, I know what you're going through.....just 4 months ago I had to put my Dobermann down. She had the canine form of hepatitis, and was in liver failure. She was on so much medication & special diet for her liver, but everytime her blood tests came back from the lab she had gotten worse. I think it was something like 3 weeks from the time she was diagnosed to the day we made "the decision". She went downhill so fast, it was unbelieveable. Watching it was really hard! The night before we did it she was up all night, vomitting, diarrhea, restless, she hadn't been eating much of anything in days. She was only 6 yrs old.
  2. Thanks, that was my 3rd match shooting Open. I'm really enjoying the "dark side". I've got a great teacher, which helps a lot Having to pee in the middle of a match? Yeah, tell me about it! After drinking so much water to keep hydrated at Indiana, I shot with a full bladder on my last stage....which by the way was my favourite stage(the one you had to make your way up range...stage3 Sliding Out of Steuben County?) Sometimes I wish I had a...... nevermind, I'm glad I don't See you at Area 5!
  3. That sucks.....last year's match was really well done.
  4. This thread is hillarious... From a woman's viewpoint on eyebrow hair removal.... wax if you must, but I draw the line at any shaping of the eyebrow. As for any other part of the body when it comes to hair removal(on guys).... hmmmm, how do I say this without revealing too much.... There are areas that I like hair on...other areas, well, it's nice when its cleaned a bit
  5. Nice shooting considering we've been indoors and freezing for the past 4 months or so!
  6. I haven't been shooting long, but I am right handed and left-eye dominant. I learned about my left eye being the dominant one while shooting from the bench, and I couldn't line up the sights with both eyes open(and after an eye exam). So I tried shooting left-handed, and since I was still new, it didn't really take long to get used to shooting southpaw. I also put some tape over my right eye. Shooting IPSC is natural to me like this, never shot a match right-handed.
  7. HI I'm wondering if anyone on here knows of any matches being held during the week of February 23rd to March 1st in the following states: Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, W Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Going to be travelling through....hoping to catch something somewhere. Thanks
