  1. Any chance I could get you to snap a picture of the break? Thanks leo
  2. I have been messing around making racker's for my gold team, and one thing I have noticed is that there are some tolerance differences between guns. We had 2 gold teams here and a racker we made fit one gun perfect but didn't fit the other one, wouldn't even make it into the dovetail. So if Henning did make them they would all have to be moderately lose. I have been making mine out of stainless 316 rod and I have been happy with the weight and the feel of it. I am not sure about using alum that does much more then the stock one and no one is too happy with that. There is also probably noway to put a detent into the racker because of the placement of the sets, you would almost need to kiss the top of the slide with a end mill just a little. Leo
  3. I have used a small block of lexan or a delrin rod so i didn't mart the sight. Some of them are in there pretty good and takes a little work. a vice with soft jaws to hold it really helps. Leo
  4. Nice looking shirt Mo. I cant wait to see a finished one. good job. leo
  5. Yeah, its a straight barrel gun. I liked the old hunter version with the comp and everything.. besides 10mm this would make a nice limited gun, carve the slide up and bushing it and it would be a tack driver. Leo
  6. Probably easiest way to trouble shoot it is take off the grips and the mag well and if its still sticking you will just have to clean up the mag release a little. Dont get too aggressive because it will booger up the magazine catches, dont ask me how i know that Leo
  7. Aww, shucks... Since this gun is for my lefty son, yesterday I installed an ambi safety and reversed the mag release... Henning makes it look so easy in his videos. You need 4 hands to work on these guns. I'll go ahead and take a detailed look at what's binding that mag. Really not looking forward to another complete disassembly. Seriously, thanks a lot Leo. Tonight, if I spend more time than usual scratching my head, I may contact you for tech assist. Henning said you might want to check the magwell and the mag release. Leo
  8. Nemo check the mag release, I have had a few that were tight with some mags but not others. Leo I just blended mine a little and that fixed everything and have yet to have any problems since.
  9. It seems to be that a trigger you may pull up to 32 times in a course of fire is more useful then a magwell, being you may only reload 2 times. leo
  10. Thank you Britin, I think flat trigger and then magwell. if the magwell isnt big enough you have more problems then just needing a bigger one. why do you want a tool steel extractor? I have not broken one or worn one out as of yet even on my limited super i bought in 92. leo
  11. I have to agree these are some nice grips. The stock alum ones are too thin. and the wood ones are too thick. I cant wait to try these out. leo
  12. I have a CZ TS 9mm and it came with them. I bought replacements from Dillion when I was ordering some other stuff. I have never had a buffer on any of my Tanfoglio's though.. leo
  13. I knew I had seen someone who had that done. Great looking gun with that doctor on it. Leo
  14. I asked Barry about his mounts on a Tanfoglio and he says he hasn't tested one yet to make sure its all good. Leo
  15. I have seen his guns, hammers honestly look better when you get done with them. Leo
  16. I did nothing with it. just left it open. Not much you can really do with it unless you want to weld it and machine it, re-chrome it. Leo
  17. From personal experience that little spring and plunger is very hard to find once it shoots out You can always trim a coil or 1.5 coils off it and make the mag release a little easier I found it a little hard factory. leo
  18. Yeah they are Nemo. Just dont lose the (6.7 Mag Catch Plunger and 6.8 Mag Catch Spring) Henning has a exploded view of if it you need it. And his video talks about taking it out and putting it in. Leo
  19. In my Witness Elite Limited 40 I run.. 4.6 Clays 180gr Zero JHP OAL: 1.170 Usually around 169 PF. Leo
  20. http://www.onlineprinthouse.com/index.html happens to be my favorite ordered a lot of cards from them and sent a lot of people to them. Leo
  21. Umm, I thought this sucker was stainless, not plated. Am I confused? correct. its not stainless. I had parts of mine in the white for a while and never had a problem with rust. but it will rust. leo
  22. Just get out and shoot it all you can Jeff, they are sweet shooting guns. leo
  23. In my Gold team I have always favored 7625 with the 124/125 zeros. I didn't like how the gun felt with slower powders or lighter bullets. I have yet to try 121 yet though. The more you shoot it the less the dot will move as you get used to it. Leo
