  1. I always buy Hennings stuff before the upgrades and the new colors. I am the guinea pig.
  2. The alloys were a little different but I still like it... thanks for all the help Henning. Leo
  3. In my 9mm slide lightened limited I run a 8lb recoil spring and 13lb hammer spring without any problem with 131pf ammo. You might even be able to get by with a 6lb just have to check how hard its battering on the frame and if it will strip rounds well enough. Leo
  4. I think a one sided mount like on the CZ modified gun is the way to go.. Leo
  5. could this mount from millennium custom be modified to fit a "foglo"? looks great at least. It is the only special purpose mount i have found for the "micro" I would bet he makes a version without holes if so its a easy install on a Tang. Leo
  6. I use a vice with soft jaws a small piece of lexan and a small hammer. Never had too much problems getting them off.
  7. It was nice meeting you and being on a squad with you Paul. Leo
  8. I was at the shoot-off and B-rod was doing awesome, Congrats man and good performance. Leo
  9. I agree with Neomet on most of his points. Henning is the man, but Gold Teams may be a little hard still to find the V12 it just came into the states last shipment. You are gonna pay around 1650-1800 for the gun probably. If the guns are out of stock in the US the wait is usually about 8 months between big shipments. 38SC is the way to go in a Witness being they are all large frame 9mm doesn't work well at the moment and big sticks can be bought usually pretty easily, they hold 29+1. The only unpleasant thing about these guns is how hard they are to get and if you are lucky enough to have to send it back for warranty work. I have a V12 and a V8 and I am not sure what one I like better at the moment, but I am still drifting towards the V8 model with a short dust cover. If you cant get one now be ready to wait. Good Luck. Leo
  10. http://san1.atlanta.gbhinc.com/GB/09527600...ix710431796.jpg I was playing around with a new match about a week ago and those are what were on it.. Leo
  11. Henning picked up Gold, Red checkered grips today. Next week should be the Black, Blue, Green on Monday or Tuesday.. Leo
  12. Matt, Knows what he is talking about with Modified guns he does sweet work. Leo
  13. The American beer makers are happy to have you. Leo
  14. I don't think so - I have a Match that I had converted to an Open blaster and Rich over at Canyon Creek "squared" the trigger guard for me. The Tanfoglio Ghost Holster I have (and most race holsters that work this way) NEED a square trigger guard for proper retention. The service costs $150 and I think it's worth it - especially if you want to shoot Limited class with a Match... On another note - The Match is a GREAT gun - the only problem I have found with shooting it in Limited is that you need to square the trigger guard to work with "race style" holsters ($150), then you need to do something about that factory sight and have the slide cut to fit a Bomar ($200 labor \ $75 for the rear sight). Then you need a magwell ($110). All this puts you at $535 in upgrades to compete in Limited. If you paid about $485 for the gun + the $535 in upgrades = $1020 You can buy a brand new Limited in .40 from Henning for right about $1000. So for the same price, you can have everything mentioned above, a nice hard chrome finish, extra recoil springs, full dust cover, extended ambi-saftey and it even comes with the slide drilled and tapped in case you want to make it an Open blaster down the road....overall - it's probably the best value out there in Limited class guns right now. Sorry for the long reply - just want to make sure you don't make the mistake I did.... hope this helps :-) -Rob I think the gun is fine to start with just like it is. Might put a 13hammer spring and one of Henning's firing pins in it but it really doesn't need much else. Like Phantom says if you are going to go through all the upgrades he mentioned you might as well just buy a Limited. But for a straight out of box gun the Match is hard to beat for limited. Leo
  15. We decided to see what it takes to reverse the adjustments on a C-More.. took a little time but turned out good. Thanks to John and Josh. Leo
  16. Congrats I was wondering who got that! Give us a range report when you get time. leo
  17. Not sure off hand. Last thumb rest I saw John made for Tom's Gold Team. I do like how low the Serendipity sits though.. leo
  18. I believe the frame screws for the optic mount are M4 screws and the grip screws are M3.5s Tom, is somewhat a expert on those now Leo
  19. Nice Job! What brand of tape did you use? +1,...never have seen that before... Really Henning found it. He should start carrying it soon just want to make sure its the best tape for the job. Leo
  20. Here are the grips with some clear grip tape Henning and I are trying out. One spot didnt settle like I wanted but it could be the tape. This is course. I have fine to try too. Leo
  21. ] I am still deciding on that. I don't want to cut on it till I am ready to refinish it. leo
  22. Why don't you try a different powder? N320 or Clays and see what happens? leo
  23. I wanted a little more room for my thumb and round some edges. Leo
