  1. Here are a few updated pictures before it goes off with Henning's front sights that were cut down to .090.. It was dehorned, the ejection port was also lowered.. Leo
  2. Leo, I had the same question.....what would look best when the gun becomes Evil Black Now I know.....thanks What color do you like Tom? I am going with green on the chrome gun. and probably gonna have the trigger, magwell and barry done to match. leo
  3. Well usually lead or moly coated bullets are faster with less charge. Like I said I run 4.6 clays with Zero FMJ 180 and 4.2 with Materblasters 180gr. You could try a different brand of bullets then MG because I load for my friends 40 match and we use pretty much the same loads no problem. I have yet to run MG bullets though in them. I am about to start running 121MGs in my super. leo
  4. They all take the same size mags the limited and the gold team. I have a 9mm and played around with it for a while but was never able to get 9mm to work reliable. Leo
  5. The problem is that 9mm mags aren't reliable in large frame as of yet. Leo
  6. I don’t know this for sure but I read somewhere that Gram’s made some for angus cz 75 champion. Those should work!! Henning's followers were made by Grams for our mags they are hard to beat and the CZ TS has a slightly different magazine. Most of us have large frame guns not the smaller CZ frame that works in 9mm. Leo
  7. Probably a good reason why not to re-invent what already works with Hennings pads and Grams internals. Leo
  8. Yes, I am shooting an Elite Limited. Well I have a number of elite limited in many calibers and never had a slow barrel but i am sure its possible. Do you have another powder to try? I either run N320 or Clays.. most of the time its clays though. I would give N320 a try, if you try clays start low and work up. I usually run 4.6 with 180gr Zeros and it makes about 168pf. Leo
  9. So the gun you are shooting is a Elite Limited?.. Leo
  10. Honestly haven't had time to even shoot it. I might try tomorrow if I get time. I might throw it on my V8 frame Henning did my trigger on but its cuff off so it may feel different on the full dust cover. Leo
  11. My buddy made the one on the V12 and I made the one on the V8. just messing around with the SS rod, the mill the lathe and a torch leo
  12. For anyone who wants to know the new V12's are in. Added some pictures of a V12 next to the V8 and a Limited. Leo
  13. I only run clays. but at 4.6 - 1.175 OAL - I hit perfect PF. I think think it could be the rifling but you may just have a slow barrel. Leo
  14. With the H-140's I get 24 with new SC brass and 23 once fired, thats with Grams spring and followers. A Big stick with H-170's I get 29 with new and 28 once fired. These magazines have always fun flawless for me. With the Bondus I find them pretty easy to clean. Leo
  15. I like the Barry, the grips are ugly leo
  16. Yeah let us know because I was never able to get high cap 9mm to work in the large frame reliably. henning can probably get them too. Leo
  17. KBC tools is one of my favorites they always seem to have pretty good deals on carbide. leo
  18. Neomet is right. snip off 1.5 coils usually does it for me. Leo
  19. I shoot lead in all my Tanfoglio's, its not a problem. They seems to stay pretty clean too. Leo
  20. Jeeeez leo, u know how much of a bastard it is to get that spring back in here are the pics mate, i also tested polishing the trigger bow before i attempt it on the new trigger bow and it has seemed to have polished up nicely. Wow thats crazy, never thought to see a break there. Hell of a polish job though on that. Hopefully, Henning can get you taken care of quick. I have taken my guns apart so many times i am getting pretty good at it, I just hate the plunger and having to worry about that tiny spring and detent. They are hard to find if you launch them. heh Leo
  21. Chrome stainless. Not a hard chrome surface. are you sure of that. because i am pretty sure its a finish when i ground off the front and back of my grips it did rust. leo edit: and technically stainless has chromium in it depending on the type.
  22. Chrome- never noticed wear on mine but i use a ghost. leo
