For those of you who may be arachnophobic...(is that a word?) You should see the giant creepy centipedes we have out here...they can get to be a foot long and they can run very fast. Jake...this one's alive.

This morning while entering my driveway I noticed a rattlesnake on the ground. He was quickly dispatched with a round to the head from my trusty Smith & Wesson snubby. As Martha Stewart would say: "It's a good thing". Edited to assure you that even though the photo was removed, the snake was impressed by the shooting skill and one shot kill.

Don't forget about the folks that had the "Prarie Dog Vacuum" a few years back. They didn't want them killed. I think the plan failed when folks found that the fleas on them could carry Bubonic Plague. edited for spelling before Nanci found it! The last time I corrected someone's spelling, I was marked for life. So now, when I find a misspelled word, I take it out on my husband. (tofu)

Actually this is not a Democracy. It is a Representative Republic. A Democracy is Mob Rule. "And to the Republic for which it stands..." Pure democracy IS a "mob rules" mentality. We best hang on to the Constitution.

How can you stay nonpolitical? You either agree with them..or you don't. Your either concerned with what's happening, or your not concerned.

I can hear the helicopters already.Never, ever, ever buy an Epson for any reason. I was hesitant at first but I just bought an Epson 580 Photo All-in-one printer copier scanner. I had heard the negative news with Epson but I needed a scanner fast cuz my HP scanner just bit the dust and I needed to scan 200 photos for a power point presentation. I have not yet had any problems and the print quality is truly photo quality on glossy paper. What's your beef with Epson?

This video was sent to me this morning. I'm wondering if the shooter may have suffered burns to his left hand as a result of the position he chose to place it. I'm also wondering if this was followed by an AD or would a hammer block keep it from firing when it hit the ground...possibly on the hammer. Thanks for the photo of the 3 mags in a row...it helped me see the "big picture". I have a 170mm STI mag that just refuses to play. Do you have any advice to encourage the darn thing? Those dudes are not cheap.

"An amendment to the Constitution requires a vote by two-thirds of both houses of Congress and ratification by three-quarters of the state legislatures. That’s 38 states—an absolute impossibility. More than 12 states have hunting and gun cultures, and their state representatives would never ratify it."...needs to be realized by more of the loud-mouthed Hollywood types and the left-wing media.
