If you look on Calguns.net there's a guy there that sells a 3D Printed bullet feeder. Shipped to you for just over $200. You do need to buy the DAA die though. Comes with 9 and 40 cal case plates. It's a powered feeder.

Do you use that one for 38SC ?

Looking to free up one station, thus a search for the 2-in-1 Seating and Crimping Die for 38super. DAA, and the other big names out of stock. Looking for your knowledge on vendors that may have this die.

Just picked up a Mark7, and got it all set on my Super1050. I like using the Lee U die (.002) as I have had ZERO problems using brass pressed with that die. The M7 will often torque stop at a 5 level. Having set off a primer by hand on this press recently I'm reluctant to go higher on the torque. Do any of you have the M7 with the Lee U die, and if so what is your torque setting.

My load is 124gr Delta Precision FMJ, 1.160 OAL, 7.8 - 8.0 HS6. Easily makes Major PF.

It's been a while but I still miss my good friend. He was a human encyclopedia of knowledge not found online anywhere. As an avid collector and shooter, his ashes are in the 50 Cal ammo can and were buried on family property in TN.

Saw a couple of people do this last week on a stage that had paper and steel from 4 shooting locations. I shot paper, paper steel and never missed and apparently got lucky. Saw a couple people hit steel, run and the steel never fell. An pro came over and suggested "Never leave on steel" and now that makes sense. I'll put steel first moving forward in areas there's paper and steel.

I'm enjoying living 20 minutes from Dillon and 15 away from Timney. No more having stuff shipped and waiting. I work from home so its an EASY excuse to get out of the house. Both have excellent staff and service. Of course there are other great local vendors too but those are my 2 favs.

Had CZ customs do the slide mill for the Trijicon plate/ front sight. I like the way it came out.

I like to look to see how "I" am doing. Clubs that sync from the LabCommander timers get the split time data included. From there I can judge my performance with split times and time to first shot, transition times, etc. The analysis is always the same... Shoot A hits faster!

I used a CZ customs blank plate and tapped it myself for an SRO. The side was thick enough, so I used what I had laying around. It's the stock bolt handle from a Ruger PC9. The *thumb rest [generic]* that fits the cutout in the frame where the optic mount usually goes is also from CZ Customs.

Before I ran my CM in Open, I ran it in LO. Not wanting to mill the slide, I just used rear dovetail plate for an SRO. Gave me the ability to attach a racker there too.

Best advice a shooter gave me for the MBX mags was to ALWAYS clean them with a brush if they hit the ground. I didn't do that ONCE and the next stage had a mis-feed. Never have had that happen since I started brushing them if they hit the dirt.

I recently shot a stage where the start position was facing up range. Make ready - I faced down range took a sight picture, loaded the gun and holstered it. I turned up range to the star position and before the "ARE YOU READY came, I pulled the gun up from the holster 1 inch to ensure it wasn't catching, just as I often do when facing down range. MD was right there and gave me a warning that I could not do that, even though the gun didn't clear the holster, even though it didn't break the 180. He didn't DQ me, I thanked him and told him that I didn't even know that was a rule, but it makes sense now because had the gun cleared the holster the muzzle had a better chance of breaking the 180, etc.

That is the devil's brass. I do not give it to anyone, I do not donate it. It gets trashed or melted. Needs to be eradicated like Polio!

If down the road you think you might want a short stroke/hydraulic buffer, the Hiperfire Eclipse is the way to go. Absolutely no issues with mine in a short stroke config.

The dirt in my area is like fine powder. I was taught to clean em out EVERY TIME they hit the ground. So far, so good! On occasion I don't and get lucky sometimes. Other times I'll get a jam and a reminder I didn't clean out that mag.

Ditto for me. PD 124/.355 Absolute flawless performance. I often weigh a batch and they all come in a 124.2 grains. No worry about not making Major if loaded right on the border.

27 round stage last night. Unloaded start, no problem. 29 round mag, good for 2 makeup shots. On the last target, the slide held open. Doh! It only had 27 in there. I always unload a partial mag and count them going back in. I did not do that last night and paid for it. Plan your shoot. Shoot your plan. Unplanned reloads always take longer than planned reloads.

I just got into the PCC realm. I dropped 1K for a Quentin Defense ARQ9. Ok, the 9mm blow back recoil was a surprise. I put a different comp on it, and added the Kynshot short stroke buffer. WOW what a difference. I'll never use a normal buffer again. A5 buffer tube on the way so the just added Timney trigger will reset. The stock mil-spec trigger resets 98% of the time. Why QD and why Timney? They're both local to me.

I've been working on my time to first shot from the draw. Mostly because my club matches are where the first shot usually never requires a move. When I started USPSA from scratch this past April, my draw/shot times were 2.5-2.75 seconds. Today they're about 1.25 and this week, my dry fire practice put my in the sub 1 second club at .85 - .90 average. The change. (right handed) B4. Both hands below belt, beep, draw and support hand comes to gun shortly after it clears the holster. Gun moves forward and up at about 45 degree angle to eye-height. Now. Beep, support hand comes up flat to chest, like a reverse hand over heart, meets gun there and then I press out. During the press out I will usually see dot on target before I'm fully extended. I probably should have done this from the get-go but it's something that has improved for me greatly.

Do you have the aftermarket spring and ceramic indexing ball? That greatly helps with snapping into position and power spills as well.

The M&P with an Apex trigger is the way to go. I love mine.

I counted 8 dots for my competition guns. No dots for my EDC guns. I recently shot an NRA D1 target at 50 yards with no misses with my P320 carry gun. That took away all my desire to put any dot on any of my carry guns. Stats show a real engagement will be much closer, and since I shoot 500+ rounds weekly competitively, I'm much more confident in Irons only for EDC.
