I walked a stage twice and then watched the guy in front of me shoot it. WTF did he shoot behind those barrels ? Oh there were targets hiding back there. I'm glad I watched him.

I found that by replacing the stock steel detent ball under the shellplate with a phenolic ball, the amount of powder flung out of the cases dropped by 90%. This powder does foul up the entire press sometimes if you're not doing regular PM.

The 650/750 comparison is a Ford/Chevy Canon/Nikon kind of thing. I prefer the disc primer system myself and have only 25,000 incident free reloads so far on the 650. I had too many issues with metal to plastic alignment on the 550 shuttle system.

My first match with my Czechmate, earned me a go-home-early prize. Trigger finger was on the side of the trigger and when I did my reload slam, that 1.75lb trigger did what it was supposed to, and I sent one over the berm. 30+ years of shooting and that was a first for me. Now my finger naturally finds the tip of the slide release lever as the safe-spot for reloads and 15+ matches later.. we're all good.
