cwmax2000
I am looking for any Tips, Tricks, Cheats etc. That is related to Firearms. They can be for; buying, selling, gunsmithing, cleaning, shooting, training, targets, reloading, ANYTHING related to firearms that saves Time, Ease, have more fun and especially Money! I am going to compile these "tips" into (hopefully) a large list for everyone's benefit, all in one place. example; I am going to show I made "homemade" tools for Smith & Wesson revolvers Dis-assembly/Assembly.This tool is at Brownells for $23.95 + shipping! These homemade tools saved me $25-$30!, Using Drywall anchors for 22LR snap caps. etc (you get the idea!) Thanks Cmax
aceinyerface
Don't buy Gun Scrubber, use brake cleaner instead. Use 10W30 on your slide rails instead of gun oil. Save your empty bottle of gun oil and refill it with the motor oil. Buy used and let someone else pay the depreciation. Never sell. Google is your friend, search for good prices and sales. When you are trying to find an item on the net for sale, get the SKU off the manufacturers website and use that to search. Slickguns, gunbot, and wikiarms are handy. cjdaniel78
Buy your grip tape from Amazon. Jessup original is $6 shipped, for a roll long enough to cover a skateboard. It's the same material some well none manufacturers use. Edited September 17, 2015 by cjdaniel78
MMC
Use NuFinish car polish in your tumbling media to shine and clean brass. Its cheaper than the "gun" brands sometimes and actually helps lubricate the brass a bit.
a matt
I load SC and the new metal polish/ media additive from Lucas lets me eliminate any case lube. Anything that speeds up the process of reloading I'm all about it. Cleans the press great too.

There is a lot of great information and people doing gun channels on YouTube. There is a bunch of crap as well. Although I am no expert, I love shooting and reloading and I have a YouTube gun channel. You can find it at; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDtNqxtVdvdMDmh0GR_4Fhg It's called Cmax Arms.
