Gary Stevens Posted February 26, 2009 Share Posted February 26, 2009 (edited) I am pleased to announce that the location for the Area 5 match in 2010 and 2011 will be the Milan Rifle Club in Milan, Illinois. The dates will be June 10-13, 2010 and June 9-12, 2011. I hope to have the new Bowling Green, Kentucky facility ready to go in 2012. I didn't see the point in waiting. This gives me a full 15 months to plan... And then a full 27 months to plan 2011... Most of this listed below is within 20 minutes of the range... We have tons of Hotels... over 50 that I can think of off the top of my head... We have tons of bars... for those that care to imbibe... We have 4 or 5 "Adult" establishments... (I mention this because people complained that Barry doesn't have any)... We have 3 casinos (2 riverboats and a brand new land based one - with hotel. The land based one is 5 minutes from the range.) We have 4 or 5 museums, a couple large movie theaters, to many restaurants to count, bike paths in both Illinois and Iowa... The world famous John Deere Museum... John Deere world headquarters is here... We host a PGA tour golf tournament every year... We have a single A minor league baseball team (affiliated with the Cardinals), an Arena 2 football team, and a AHL hockey team.
