  1. I am alive and well. I don't log on here much anymore, it just makes me want to shoot. I havent been shooting due to $. I have to pick and choose and I choose to get out of Debt first(it sucks). Hope all is well with you. I will give you a call sometime. Later

  2. The last time I ordered from Surefire, its been almost 2 years, I got the LE discount. Order direct from them and they give you 20 or 25% off, I don't remember which. Rick
  3. Dave, Just so you know I was not calling you out. My comment was something that I try to live by. I do know what your are talking about though, when we went to area 3 together I got bumped just before the match, that is okay I wouldn't have one anything in any class the way I shot. See you Wed. I finally get to shoot a match again.
  4. Dave, I had not heard yet, congratz to you and Darcy. Hope that Darcy and the little guy are doing great. Rick
  5. Good shooting, I was hoping that I was going to beat you but I fell a little short. It was good to see you and all of the other guys again. Later, Rick ETA: link works for me now
  6. Dave, I know that I have not seen you shoot this year (I miss my shooting buds...but that is another story) but I have seen you shoot and you have always shot fast. Your movement needs to become more fluid, you always seemed a little choppy. You may have worked things out as I am making my comments based on last year. Take some video so we can see what is going on. Rick
  7. Glad you get to go, and that Darcy is going to let you go is even better!! I wish I was in the same boat. Good luck
  8. A very positive YES SIR, it sure does. This particular pistol has similar recoil characteristics as a 9mm pistol. I am looking foreword to using it next year! I borrowed this pistol out to another forum member (blue862) and he used Howard to mop up on the competition about a month and change ago. That's pretty good considering he had never touched this pistol before I handed it over to him. Of course it didn't have the nice paint on the grip at that time either so I'd bet it would even be faster now!! hahaha. It sure is a smooth shooter. Howard sure knows what he is doing. I had my place in line for Howard to build me one just like it but things have changed and I had to cancel my order. (Howard was great to talk with and work with, my wife on the other hand...) Rick
  9. Awsome!! Now its time to sell the vet and get a minivan I am happy for you and Darcy Rick
  10. Thanks for the offer, but I will not be making it up to MAPSA. I have put a few rounds down range with a DW CBob that a buddy has. Rick Dahly
  11. I am thinking about having a bobtail commander built for carry, does anyone have any experiance with Fusion? I have not been able to find much of anything for reviews on them? I know that it is not really a competion question but I know that there has to be a few people that use a Fusion for SS. How is the quality? Thanks, Rick
  12. Glock? I didn't see any Glocks????
  13. Duane lets see some of the rest of the pics you took at the match.
  14. Jon, if was a fun match. Lots of people that I have not seen aorund before, that was nice to see. Could not have asked for a better day!!! GREAT FUN! Rick
  15. I am very happy that on April 22nd I will be attending his class "The Bullet Proof Mind" I have been trying to get the boss to send us and he is now going to be close enough that I am getting to go. Can't wait Rick
  16. The HK is a good gun and it will run, but I agree with Bart, it is not idea for USPSA. I carried one for work and the trigger is heavy and the bore axis is high (the lower the bore is in your hand the better you will be able to control recoil). If I was looking for a production gun I would be looking really hard at the M&P. Rick
  17. That would not fly in my county. Yes, I am a police officer and I was called for jury duty and the only reason that I was let off was because I was on the witness list. Our Judge doesn't care what your job is, if you can be open minded you are good to go. Rick Dahly
  18. First USPSA was 03/11/07 on a cold day in Iowa and I have thought about shooting everyday after after. I have shot pistols for about 10 years but once I tried USPSA I was hooked. Rick Dahly
  19. As long as my job does not change I could tell you when I work in 2056 if I am still working then Rick
  20. Looks like I will have to take some days off, I am schuelded to work for both. I think that if I ask now they should be able to find someone to work for me. Great job on getting things done early!! Rick Dahly
  21. HSMITH built 6" limited gun. I just have to wait, about 17 months, but I will get one. Then I will want another one;) Rick Dahly
  22. I bought a Ghost for a 1911 from shooters connection last year and it does not have the wing like things on the connection plate like the one you have pictured. I have had no problems with it trying to move around on my belt. Rick Dahly
  23. You just got another request. I don't do much on facebook but I do spend alot of time playing mobwars. Rick Dahly
