floridaboy
I like to stand while reloading with the Dillon 550 so i can watch all the stations. When i reload on my RCBS Rock Chucker i set down because i batch load and can see what i am doing.

kevin c
I'm altitude challenged so I stand . I think I get better leverage standing (SDB), and I can get closer to the press than when sitting - makes it easier to see into the cases. Jim Rusert
Standing (550B), I generally crank out 500 - 600 rounds per session and I never feel fatigued. Also, you burn more calories standing rather than sitting. I need all the help I can get!
JimmyZip
6'4", stand. Me too. But I built my bench at navel height. It is the only bench I work at that doesn't fatigue my back. When I am woodworking I've built cheater boxes that go on the benches at work so that I'm not slouching all day. That and a pair of Red Wings, I can do either all day. rupie
Although it is messy right now, I sit I put my 550 on a old fashioned dresser that used to have a mirror on the back, everything I need is within arms reach.

The Happy Gila
I prefer standing while reloading...besides it's easier to move about the garage when I do get tired of standing in one place. The movment within the garage relaxes me to the point I don't mind standing at station while I reload.
TISCHLJ
Stand- Better for proper posture and leverage. Take care of your back.
Anon
6'2" also. Sit, with a low bench, and a very low stool. I'm sitting so low, my legs are bent less than 90* (knees slightly higher than hips). Eliminates back issues for me.
CJDOUBLETAP
Sit, I do like Brian said in an earlier post. Use a bar stool with the handle at about shoulder height when it's in up position. I load in marathons, usually 2 or 3 thousand per sitting, and I could imagine my back hurting pretty bad standing the whole time... I don't see any need to be able to look into the cases when your loading. If you are using the machine properly there will be powder going into the cases... chirpy
I have to sit! I have a back problem that I am just trying to find out about and I can only load 50 rds. before I have to go sit in a comfortable chair. That's OK cause I'm retired and have time during the winter to do it that way. FWIW Richard
