J-Ho
I don't care how uber taticool this thing is. That's one ugly rifle. I think it's the stock, it just doesn't look right.
G-ManBart
I don't know...I think they're kinda cool, but there are now like 15 bids...yikes. $6K seems a little steep for a gun that doesn't have a full happy switch or shoot .50BMG.
uscbigdawg
I wanted to vote, "only if it's a gift", but hey.... Rich
Alwaystryin
All the votes should be above 2k because I know for sure the wholesale price is just under 2500.
ajg308
I hear ya, but I want to know what it will do that a $1k rifle won't? All the votes should be above 2k because I know for sure the wholesale price is just under 2500.
JimmyZip
Is it better than the HK 556?
warpspeed
It looks cool but waaaay too rich for my wallet.
davidwiz
Is it better than the HK 556? It is in the sense that the SCAR is available. No one knows if a semi-auto HK416 will be sold in the US. Heck, look how long it is taking to get the Magpul/Bushmaster ACR to market.
ajg308
Final bid over $9k! http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=120173823
Chris Conley
Is it better than the HK 556? It is in the sense that the SCAR is available. No one knows if a semi-auto HK416 will be sold in the US. Heck, look how long it is taking to get the Magpul/Bushmaster ACR to market. Had my hands on a HK 416 last week. They are for sale, just not very many of them. My business partner paid a chunck of change for it too. Then he sold it and made $1500. I've seen just the 416 upper go for $4800. I got my hand on it just before he boxed it up. HK was nice but I'll keep my Sabre's clean and like them just as well. It blows me away what folks are paying for stuff now days. Crazy. Chris C. JFlowers
Like ajg asked, what do these rifles bring to the table that the current generation of $1000 black rifles don't?
Adrian_Sorah
Geez, you could have a nice little select-fire uzi for that price. :surprise:
J-Ho
Geez, you could have a nice little select-fire uzi for that price. :surprise: Or a couple of JPs or Firebirds, a hell of a lot of ammo, and some damn good training, and more ammo. Oh and you would probably even have enough to afford a match fee or two.
JimmyZip
I think the price on GlockWorld was somewhere around 8k.

davidwiz
Concerning my previous comment on the HK 416 not being available in a semi-auto version, HK made an announcement at the SHOT show that the HK MR556 and MR762 are going into production in the US. The flyer is available here in pdf.
mittim1965
to much money for a semi-auto
davidwiz
Reading HK's flyer, it sounds like you can't take the MR556 or MR762 upper and use it on a regular AR15 or AR10 lower.
rr4406pak
Geez they couldn't even get the flat dark earth colors to match. The thing looks like a patch quilt! WTF?
