pskys2
You guys have all moved up 1, a Buddy from up North had an extra and I'm in. Next Step I have a room booked at the Match Hotel, Holiday Inn Select, $79 a night but you need to call them at 918 622-7000. As the National Line doesn't seem to have the rate listed. Or I just couldn't understand the foreign accent? My roomie, Dr. Dremel himself, hopes all the rest of you Revolero's will be staying there. ???? S&WIowegan
I'm #185 and I signed in right after midnight CDT which was one hour too late. Anyone want to give odds on me getting in? I think I'll try Bubber's tactic and show up anyway. I know that used to work for local Illinois guys at Barry. Always some no shows. Even if I just watch, what could be better than watching the roomies, Dave and Mike, battle it out? Edited May 28, 2008 by S&WIowegan
pskys2
SWIowegan I'm pretty sure they'll refund the money if you don't get offered a Slot. They keep it only if you get one offered and you don't take it. I'd check with the USPSA Office to be sure though. I've been training with world class champion Snorz Buzzall. I plan on using my new found skills to keep Dr. Dremel from getting a good nights sleep. I will have an edge. That is if he comes in from the Casinos! Keith, the Match Hotel is listed as the Holiday Inn Select on 5000 E. Skelly Drive. I'm pretty sure it's the same as last year, and where they held the awards. The rooms were quoted to me as $79/night (pretty good deal my AARP card wouldn't get me that at the Red Roof even). I called the Hotline and they didn't have a clue. Called the Hotel itself at 918 622-7000 and they set me up pronto. That's where we're booked into. Also Keith there's a guy on the USPSA Section of this Forum looking for a ride along from Minnesotta/Iowa. Might check him out he's Vettman, I think. Rob Boudrie
They keep it only if you get one offered and you don't take it. I'd check with the USPSA Office to be sure though. No need to check with Sedro - this is the correct understanding. HQ had a big problem one year when there was not waitlist charge - and ended up with hundreds of people on the list who did not accept a slot, slowing down the process of getting slots offers to people who would actually use them. Even if I just watch, what could be better than watching the roomies, Dave and Mike, battle it out? Last year they were set up for 36 squads of 11 shooters each. That came to 396. When the match was over, we had around 377, including the few DQ's. As far as I know, everyone who showed up with money in hand got in the match. Rob Boudrie
USPSA released a few slots yesterday so we could test slot payment part of the process. After fixing one early morning glitch that impacted one user, we verified everything is working fine. I expect a significant number of slots will be released today or tomorrow. Remember, you have three days to pay for your slot, and you MUST check you classification record in case you don't get the automatically generated email. No, Sedro won't change the deadline for you if you didn't get the email. Please be sure to check your classification record after paying for your slot to verify the payment is properly on record. Once you see your slot payment on your classification record, you can be sure the USPSA has it.

Keith
Cool! You must shoot down at Pine Island, then. I haven't shot at that club, yet.
