zhunter
As we speak he is out pestering fish with his fly rod...not shooting Correct I was down in The Florida Keys Tarpon fishing. Headed to work today for 3 weeks, San Diego this week, then London for two weeks, then back to The Keys I have seasons, no, not Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, but rather fishing and shooting, this is Fishing season. The Tarpon "run" for about 4 - 4 1/2 months, and this is the middle of it now. Last weeks talley in 4 days, 6 fish, weighing in at 60, 65, 75, 90, 130 and my largest ever on a fly rod, 140 pounds. This is sight fishing in shallow ( 2-8 of gin clear ) water. YEP, no shooting practice right now for ZH Edited June 11, 2008 by zhunter
Scout454
+1 Z! A man's gotta have his priorities straight! I never went after Tarpon but Snook and big jacks were a passion on a fly!

Jim Norman
Can someone please forward an application? I am now in possession of 4 Single stacks and shot my first SS match yesterday. I have to say that I had about as much fun as I have had in years shooting a SS. A whole different stage breakdown is required. I started in USPSA shooting Limited (Standard) with a SS and 10 round mags. I had forgotten how much fun it is. Looking forward to shooting more SS in the near future, just wishing that there were more people shooting it so that there was a field of competitors to gauge against. Thank ful as always for combined results. Jim

RobMoore
I submit to you the following: Short cell-phone video of me competing in CDP division @ Sanners Lake, MD http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoID=11861739 I just classified expert Saturday @ my local club (AAFG) PS: The ambi came with the gun. I'm not fond of it for carrying, but its what I got till I either find a standard one that drops in (Wilson's don't) or get a smith to fit one. HighVelocity
I'd like to play too. Though I have been shooting wheelguns for most of the last year, the single stack 1911 is, and always has been my first choice. I carry one every day as my ccw. Here's a video of me shooting an IDPA stage (CDP SS at that time, now EX) as well as the scores from that match. Video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=qyokDsfxeW8 scores: http://www.dallaspistol.com/daps/UploadedS...7%20Overall.htm Pics of my favorite 1911, which is a series 70 Colt Combat Government that I have enjoyed since 1989.
