Bwana,

It can't be only 99 days till the big one. Heck we don't even know who's going yet. :excl:

Time waits for no man. Going through the posts, I think this might be an uptodate on who's going:

Definately in with a slot:

P. Sweeney

M. Carmoney

B. Perdue

N. Colon

P. DeBerry

V. Sargentini

T. Mainus

S. Keen

D. Jarrell

L. Fay

W. Mitty

D. Carden

B. Williams

H. Morrell

D. Marques

P. Griggs

I think it is safe to add:

J. Miculek

C. Walsh

J. Bagakis

Possibles from the wait list:

D. Gomez + one

R. Davis

G. Cuttitta

J. Carr

K. Ulfers

S. Penkala

Hope this is accurate, if not, feel free to change it. Things should really start to move in about 30 days when the slot deadline hits. Good Luck to all on the waiting list.

So, Cliff are you a definate in?

See you in the bar

I'll be there...someone has to be comic relief

Cliff, since I helped you screw up a stage at the IRC, I'll buy you a round in the bar for you...

Now now, Clifford, you paid your money and you took your chances, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, only you are in control. But I'll still buy...

Getting better every day. We are up to 19 in with slots and at least six more who will probably make it in. We are halfway to haveing Hopalong buy a new gun for someone. (Didn't think I would forget that did you Sam?) <_<

Let's go waiting list

84 and a wake-up! 15 until wait list frenzy begins

It's starting to get lonely down there on the possibles list.

So what do you Okie's (WM) expect the weather to be like around Nats time? Hot and dusty? Will there be cattle on the range, or do they move them for special events? ;)

You act like cattle on the range is a weird thing. You obviously have not shot any matches at Piru, California. :)

When I was mobilized during Desert Storm, the mechanized infantry unit I was with at the time had to fire night quals with their Bradleys. It seems that range cattle have about the same heat signature as the targets used on the Ft. Hood range...and a three round burst of 25mm does pretty well against Elsie. :D

Sorry for the thread drift - my only range cattle story...back to your regularly scheduled thread...

There can be some hot days in the first couple of weeks of September, but it is usually dry and the mornings start to cool down after the furnace of August is over. I imagine the cattle operation will be cashed out (shut down) by that time ;)

If they don't get the sod repaired there may be dust. It was really installed too late in the year for last years' Nationals, but Kelly said they would be working on that. Our OK Revo/SS Sectional was a mud bog on the stages where the sod didn't take. We've had a wet spring, but much of the range complex is still bare ground from the dirt work. A stiff North wind could raise some dust for us.

I know of at least two folks that have already moved up the wait list myself. I wouldn't be surprised that if that pattern has held across USPSA. Your actual waiting list position is a negative number by now.
