It seems if it was good to use for other matches, it would be great to use here. Not that I have any complaints, just curious. I'm shooting with my friend that I asked to be squadded with so Kim did a great job. It's kind of funny, I'm the only production shooter with 8 open guys. Time to double plug!!!!!! Jamie, you could always request to be moved somewhere else, if you ask Kim really nicely (well, more like beg). I don't recall what was going on when I sent in my form - but in all likelihood I didn't realize you were going, at the time. Did you put anyone down on your sheet, or just left it blank?? Because of the way that USPSA handles squadding and entering data into EZ Winscore, it caused more work than it was worth, and created problems with people calling in to see where they were squadded, advantage gained because of time zones, etc. And, it doesn't import directly into EZWS, so everyone had to be hand entered. I guess the matches that use self squadding cause themselves lots of extra trouble????? Jamie, You can squad with us if you would like. Squad 32 is only showing 9. I know Kim said there were others coming or whatever but maybe you could beg your way in if you want. We need another Texan. When I looked over the squads last night, And when he was not on the squad or ..any squad at all I did not know what to think. Any way his entry was lost and now it is found and he got the squad fixed with both of us on squad 14. I am still looking forwar to making new friends. Thanks for the invites. Maybe this means that Leatham is still deciding whether he wants to shoot Open, or take his XD and challenge Sevigny in his own lair, to return the favor for Dave winning Limited. Or maybe Eric Grauffel's paperwork is still processing. I guess there's no doubt that Production Division has come of age. This must be the strongest field ever... 41 Masters and Grandmasters! I'm looking forward to seeing how world-class crossovers such as TT, Taran Butler, and Jerry Miculek do alongside all the Production specialists. Kim squadded me and my fellow teammates from the Green Mountains along with a bunch of folks from, to judge from their unusual names and home towns, somewhere in Scandinavia (?), perhaps... He has stated on the IPSC forum that he is shooting in Cebu as he was invited to participate in a match over there. I just see it wierd that brad balsley wasn't put on a super squad this year... he's had some pretty impressive finishes thus far. And many are on there who haven't been near the top 16 in years. Yeah, you're right, BJ and Brad were 11th and 12th respectively last year. I would have thought that would earn them a slot on the Super Squad. Imagine the other 388 or so that wanted to be moved here or there because they couldn't get on a squad because someone obviously didn't know that they had 14 people to squad together, so the inconsiderate so-and-so just parked himself on their squad. Or, the ones who found out about it late, and had panic attacks. Or, how about the guys who wanted to shoot with John and Bill, but John and Bill didn't want any part of them? When you have people calling the office, in spite of being asked not to call about squadding, and screaming over the phone about their lot in life, that pretty much defines "sucked". It drove Kim nuts, to be honest. So, no more self-squadding for Nationals. Like I said, it's a major headache from the admin. end of things, especially for Nationals. Bottom line, write who you want to squad with on the slot and send it in. We'll do all we can to honor that, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. Then, it's time to meet and shoot with some new people and make a few friends.
