Ever go to a major and pay attention to what guys clean their mags after every stage?

It's not just limited to the guys shooting 140mm mags.  Depending on the range surface, I sometimes clean every singlestack 45 mag that hits the ground.

SS is certainly another gun that is super finicky about mags.
