TheGoatMumbler
Just getting into my S&W 686 for IDPA and I'm looking for some good, bulk training ammo. I use Fenix 9mm bulk for my SSP with good results but they don't offer .38 spec. This stuff is about double at the big box stores for what I pay for my 9mm so I could use some advice. RePete
Why not just load your own? If you don't reload - yet - then use what you can find mainly for the brass.
TheGoatMumbler
That's what my buddy says. Money for equipment, learning curve, etc. He keeps sending me links to used reloading deals online all the time.
ysrracer
The cheapest ammo I found is the Remington 130gr bulk ammo, but it doesn't make power factor. But the brass is good. Edited January 21, 2020 by ysrracer
caspian guy
I prefer federal bulk stuff for the federal primers.

It's still twice my 9mm at about .40 rd.

PatJones
As you price ammo, remember that you want round nose bullets. Flat points, even round nose flat points, don't load as quickly.Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
pskys2
The PF for SSR is only 105. So for local matches and practice getting close won't make much difference.
Ssanders224
Precision Delta has remanufactured 130gr FMJ available, and it is priced well. The site is going through some changes, so it is not currently listed. It’s fantastic ammo. Give the office a call. 662-756-2810.

RePete
Based on the chrono, I wouldn't trust the ammo for a match where chrono is used. You might give 7 rds that are 102PF.
