My guess is something wasn’t fitting correctly, so they had to make a new barrel from scratch. I was told it should be done and ship out before they take a break for the holidays. Groove dia is .400 and 1/2-28 min minor dia is going to be .451 and even a 1/2-32 thread only gets your minor up to .457 … that’s not a lot of material. You could probably use some sort of custom shoulderless .550” thread and then index on the muzzle, but you’d have to custom make (or rethread) the comp. But I ended up pulling the trigger on a czechmate and decided I’d just stick with 9major. We shall see since I heard this a few weeks ago. Im not in a rush, but I want it done right. I’ve waited this long, so a little longer isnt going to hurt.
