TANFARM
I’m recently doing considerable powder charge changes on my 650. I know there has to be a simpler way than blocking of the case chute, disabling the primer assembly and feeding a case at a time to weigh the charge . Im sure someone way smarter than me has figured this out.....my way is a PITA.......Thanks!!
Hi-Power Jack
I remove the spacer pins and feed one case at a time. If there's a better way, I'm all ears (that don't work very well)

jhgtyre
Turn off the casefeeder, dump the cases that are in the tube and press, remove the one screw that holds the primer cam in place. It doesn't seem so burdensome to me but then again I bought an entire extra priming assembly because I hate changing it from small to large... SCTaylor
I either let the primers go down the shoot & put the extras in a small plastic bin for later use. Blocking the casefeed is easy with a U shaped piece of wire

TANFARM
So at this point the .556 case in the case feeding arm and the zip tie on the primer arm is my best bet ??

Make sure to cycle the powder measure a few times to let it settle.
muncie21
After making a change, why not remove the powder activation rod and manually throw 10 charges into a container and weigh? I happen to use the plastic case the Dillon cause gauges come in. They are very light, yet large enough to hold 10 powder throws.
