MissionaryMike
The slides on both my Accu Shadow and P-09(cajunized) will release forward into battery sometimes when I slap the magazine home too hard. Most times, I don't even think it's that hard of a slap. It's gotta be a simple issue, right? Like a spring change or something? Can you guys help me out as to the cause? Thanks, MM
TennJeep1618
Mine will do that pretty regularly if I use the factory SP-01 basepads, but generally not with other pads. I think it may have to do with dislodging the slide stop when the basepad hits the frame?
Lukedrywalker
My M&P will do it when I slap it home.

mrpredictable
Most handguns I've used will do this if you slap the mag in with a little bit of a forward bias. Not sure if there is a way to prevent it.

kneelingatlas
If you really don't like it you can adjust the angles on the slide and slide stop for more positive engagement.
MissionaryMike
If you really don't like it you can adjust the angles on the slide and slide stop for more positive engagement. It's not that I don't like it. I wasn't really sure if it was safe or not, or possibly an effect of some malfunction. Quirk
I like it on my CZs and M&P during competition, saves a fraction of a second on a reload. But I've noticed it's inconsistent on my CZs (75 Shadow, SP01 Shadow), and always wondered exactly how it occurs and how to fine tune it. Anyone explain exactly why this occurs and what might make it 'stop' happening? thx C
Bhayden
My question is how do I make my sp01 do it all the time....
mrpredictable
My question is how do I make my sp01 do it all the time.... Shove the magazine up and forward with a good amount of force. Should do the trick.

CodyAxon
It's not a technique I'd ever rely on to happen 100% of the time.
goshimu
My stock 2 does this, great when slide back reloading.
wingnut
I am ok with it. Just so it is not a DQ when make ready.
GrumpyOne
I am ok with it. Just so it is not a DQ when make ready. So, at Make Ready, you draw your gun, lock the slide back, and then slam a mag home?
