3gunDQ
I would like something to mount on my rifle that makes it easier to grab off of a table. I run an open pistol and on a table start the charger has the gun propped up.... I need something that does it on a rifle but had no luck finding it, help? EaZeNuTZ33
Switch view on my scope occasionally works fine for that. Picking my gun off the table is where I might lose 1/4 of a second, so I don't worry about it most of the time.
3gunDQ
My switch view aint cutting the mustard.
bwikel
Use coupled mags and stand it up on those with the comp also touching the table. This makes it easy to grab and go but the risk is it falling over if the wind catches it and possibly off the table.
3gunDQ
I noticed i put this thread in the wrong forum.... probably why no one has said you need this ___________, it is an AR prop.
EaZeNuTZ33
I don't think you're going to get a ton of suggestions in any forum......it's an area where you won't find much that will help you without having something obnoxious hanging off the side of your gun. kurtm
Hell, just get some of those big old honkin"tac latches"! Some of those goofy things could work as a kick stand to an Electraglide.
bishop414
Use your bipod.
Bryan 45
Mount a piece of pic rail on the rifle fore end at 9 o'clock and use one of those vertical grips that turn into a bipod. Or 3 o'clock if you're left handed.
T Bacus
I find the stock ideal for grabbing.
StealthyBlagga
On balance, are you sure that hanging another piece of crap off your rifle is really going to do more good than harm? Under most rules, you cannot change the rifle configuration between stages (except slings and bipods), so whatever you add needs to stay on for the whole match. Just seems like the juice wouldn't be worth the squeeze.
Vespid_Wasp
Beta mag? I've had one or two open guys tell me that is one reason they really like the beta drum mags. Sitting right there in the vertical position. Don't load it up completely full and there will be less of a weight penalty. I wouldn't think attaching a kickstand to the side of your rifle would be worth the maybe quarter second you would gain.
