Hi-Power Jack
I've never tried it, but I'm guessing 5 seconds?
Jake Di Vita
sub 2.5 with 6 alphas is pretty decent. Edited January 27, 2016 by Jake Di Vita
Onepocket
Jake 2.5 is smoking fast. I have recently got in the high 2's, I can't even imagine sub 2.5 right now. I have really learned a ton from shooting this. Edited January 27, 2016 by Onepocket
rowdyb
I start in the 4's and can get into the 3's, all A. One definitely learns a bunch from this version.
Jake Di Vita
It's pretty fast, but don't forget I'm primarily an Open shooter. For me, in Open, the times I'd like to see are something close to these: 7-10 yards: 1.5 or under 15 yards: 2.0 25 yards: 2.5 50 yards: under 3.5 Limit of human function times are of course below that. If I'm real trained up, I want to hit these times cold. Edited January 27, 2016 by Jake Di Vita
Beastly
I'd like to say humble brag, but if you can hit those times cold then you wouldn't be bragging and there would be no need to be humble.
Jake Di Vita
If you knew me, you'd know the last thing I want to talk about is myself. Just trying to provide some perspective as I thought it was pertinent to the conversation.
Beastly
I wasn't trying to be a smart ass, I'm not an open shooter but those are impressive times. I struggle with the "2 @ 25" drill (2 shots in the A-zone at 25 yards [edit: in 2 seconds]) in Production. Onepocket
Glad to hear your times Jake. I like to know the limits and strive for them. I wonder what Max or some of the other top teer guys shoot this in.
cjdaniel78
I've never tried this but I suspect I could use a sun dial. Jake - Open or not, that is very, very impressive!
zen_grasshopper
Middle of last season and 60 pounds heavier. 3.53 seconds. Production A.
rowdyb
I tried the other day as well. 3.60 was my very best and totally lucky. 3.88 was more repeatable. And I am talking a clean run, not just performing six shots on the target at 25 yards.

RussellM
My best ever is a 2.25 all A's with a Stock 2. I average around 2.75. 25 yard head box run about 5.00.
marky123
Well to provide some balance I did a 7 meter one in 3.01seconds with my G17. It looks awesome when you record yourself in slomo on your iPhone
Onepocket
A new variation that I'm shooting now is a 10 inch steel plate at 25. It is a little tougher than the paper bill drill. If anyone has a 10" plate you should give it a try.
Erttactics
I like this drill, I also like the accelerator drill kind of for the same reason, makes me slow dow for those long shots, one day hopefully I won't have to.
FTDMFR
With all As, my best is around 3.80s, and my average is 4.00s. M&P Pro with iron sights.

zen_grasshopper
Shot this the other day at a training session at the indoor range. 1 year and 4 months since the video that I posted above. Knocked about .6 of a second off the drill consistently. I did shoot this one from hands at side instead of surrender, but my draw times between the two are the same so it doesn't really matter.
