Benl
I've picked up an MKA 1919 Match to shoot Open class 3 gun. I've shot a few matches with it, but carrying the mags is problematic. Right now, I'm using my Heavy Metal 308 mag carriers tightened up; it sort of works, but moving with it is a pain and reloading from it is awkward. A thigh rig would work much better. Does anyone make a thigh rig for MKA1919 mags? Right now, I'm using factory 10 rounders, so that's what I'm looking to carry. Any ideas? They work OK, but don't hold the 1919 mag with a lot of real estate. Edited September 30, 2015 by Benl
Benl
HSGI Leg Panel with HCM Tacos. Hmm. I think this might be the winner. I'm going to research...
RiggerJJ
I make my own, similar to the HCM taco but longer so the mags stay put... jj
norbs007
Got this from my teammate and it worked well with the 10-round mags. Selling it now for $50 shipped if interested.
gerritm
R&R targets has mag clips that several of us use for our spare mags. They just hang on your belt. Work well and are inexpensive. Even works on the 23 rounder. I also use a Blade Tech Saiga mag holder with a Teklok. http://randrtargets.com/site/products-page/saiga-parts/mag-clips/ gerritm
StarvinPilgrim
I make the kydex thigh rig for Tooth & Nail. They will hold the 10 round or the 24 round mags and come with a tec loc so you can easily take it off and on for different stages. You're mag will not fall out and you get plenty of range of motion. The pouch on Tooth and Nail's website is for coupled magazines. Is a single mag pouch also available? Bill
StarvinPilgrim
Yes, the singles are available. Actually haven't been making the coupled for a while. Just an old photo that needs to be updated. You will need to specify whether you want original mags or for the Gen 2 (new style) mag.

RH45
Somewhere, I have mag pouches for my 1919, but, since going to R&R clips, I don't use them anymore
Garmil
I ended up doing g a 5.11 thigh rig and the hcm tacos. They are almost too deep for 5 round mags, they go all the way in a d are hard to grab. With Salem 6 10 round extensions they work great.
