valerko
Mine is pretty much stock. Did frame reduction on it and changed the grips. Internally nothing. 180g precision bullets
jayjay1
Well, I threw in adjustable sights (fiber glas front post) and am still on my journey to find "the grips". Did some skateboard tape around and tried different options. Frame reduction as well. How big are your hands? Big magwell also. Humm, oh yeah, lighter recoil spring. I think that´s pretty much it. She is big and heavy, has a great precision and I suppose the best trigger on the market. Like all CZs (unfortunately) she has a very short cone, so that you can´t seat out your bullets very far. Because of that, 200gr. didn´t work in mine, I´m using 180 too.
zzt
It already comes with all the spares you need. That being said, I intended to use 40 for both Major and Minor, so I ordered 11 and 13lb recoil springs. I'm running the 13 now and it performs flawlessly for both 140 and 175PF loads. I hated the short, bent plastic guide rod so I ordered the full length SS unit. I probably didn't need to, but it was my preference. The rest may depend on what you want to do with the gun. If you are going to use it to shoot Limited, you'll definitely want the CZC extended base plates. They may or may not work with the standard spring and follower. If you are not comfortable modifying the follower, buy the CZC spring and plank follower. Note: these may or may not lock the slide back when empty. You could also use the Grams springs and followers. I have small hands, so I ordered the thin Al grips. They are .100" thinner overall than the standard, and made a difference. My pistol has a strong preference for 175-180gr bullets, although it shoots 165gr HP plated bullets very well. To keep things simpler, I've standardized on 180gr TC bullets for both Minor and Major. IronicTwitch
Upgrades on my TS from either CZ USA Webstore or CZCustom Webstore: Grips ($85) Link: http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/19146_Aluminum-Grips-Full-Size-Black-Czub - I had to file down these grips to fit with the magwell, took about an hour or so for both grip panels (and I noticed tonight that I need to loctite the screws still). I have some black flat aluminum grips that I used up until a few weeks ago already filed down to fit the magwell (http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/19094_Black-Aluminum-Grips-For-75-Full-Sizets), if you're interested I'd give you a deal. - You can pretty much use any full size CZ 75 grip and trim them down to fit with a magwell, or just not use a magwell and no trimming is needed (I ran mine that was the first few months). Magwell ($75) Link: http://czcustom.com/CZ-Tactical_Sport-Mag-Well.aspx - Alternative is the Czechmate magwell which would allow you to use the factory base pads (http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/203047000002_Czechmate-Aluminum-Magwell), I also have one of these I bought since CZ USA has only a limited qty and rarely orders them from CZ UB. The flat aluminum grips would have to be filed down a little more to work. The positive would be you could use the factory base pads (the CZCustom magwells don't work with the factory base pads, the funnel gets in the way by about 1/8"). Front Fiber Optic Sight ($35), 7.5mm tall (works with factory rear sight), your choise of 1.0 or 1.5mm diameter, I prefer the bigger diameter (speed over accuracy), Link: http://czcustom.com/CZ-Fiber-Optic-Front-Sight-7.5mm-with-1.5mm-FibreRod-2.aspx Extended Magazine basepads ($38 x 3) Link: http://czcustom.com/cztacticalsportextendedbasepadsilver.aspx (Silver) or http://czcustom.com/cztacticalsportextendedbasepadBlack.aspx (Black) Extended Spring and follower kit ($17 x 3) Link: http://czcustom.com/czcspringandfollowerkit10.aspx Steel Guide Rod ($25) Link: http://czcustom.com/CZ_75_SP01-Stainless-Steel-Guide-Rod.aspx Edited April 27, 2015 by IronicTwitch
tha1000
I've got one of the large CZC magwells and a set of CZC aluminum grips for sale on the classifieds. I cut the ones I have on my TS down with a hacksaw, just make sure you get your measurements right. It's about an 1/8 of an inch to clear the factory or CZC magwell if memory serves. zzt
Just buy the thin "medium" grips from CZC and the fit perfectly with the factory or optional magwells.
tha1000
Just buy the thin "medium" grips from CZC and the fit perfectly with the factory or optional magwells. does the Czechmate magwell and the CZC magwell fit the same? I've never seen the czechmate magwell in person, but it looks like it extends further up the grip from the pics I've seen.
zzt
According to CZC, yes. The medium grips fit the standard, large aluminum and IPSC box legal magwells.

Philo_Beddoe
I would get the CZC TS magwell that fits the IPSC box. I got the large TS magwell and had to remove a lot of material from it & the CZC basepads to get the mags to lock in and drop freely. I ended up having to bead blast my basepads because they were so ugly after I was done. CZC really needs to watch the tolerances on some of their parts. tha1000
fwiw, the Czechmate mag well needs no mods to fit the stock or CZC basepads. being able to run the stock mags is the main reason I am interested in the Czechmate magwell, as I have no need for the extended baseplates required for the CZC magwell as I don't think I'll ever use my TS for anything that would require more than 20 rounds of 9mm. zzt
If you plan to shoot USPSA Limited Minor you may find the extra three rounds come in handy on some stages. Even if you load it up with 21 or 22, you'll find that the lighter spring and the not fully loaded mag is a bunch easier to seat reliably in a close slide gun. Here is the CZC IPSC legal magwell. It is designed so that you cannot over-insert a mag with the extended base pad. http://czcustom.com/CZ-Thin-Medium-Silver-Grips.aspx Here are the medium grips that fit both the factory and the IPSC magwell, without modification. http://czcustom.com/CZ-Thin-Medium-Silver-Grips.aspx Here is the large magwell. The medium grips also fit it without modification. http://czcustom.com/cztsmagwelllarge.aspx For what it's worth, I use extended base pad mags with the factory magwell and have zero over-insertion problems, or any other. You have to slam a 20round mag of 40sw pretty hard to get it to seat reliably when the slide is closed. So, I don't see what the IPSC magwell brings to the table, other than appearances and it doesn't wiggle.
tha1000
I have no plans to shoot limited at this point, it'll mainly be steel matches. I'm probably retired from USPSA until my son gets a couple years older due to the length of the matches.
