Charbonneau482
I'm wanting to upgrade my existing 10 round tube on my M2 to a 12 round tube but I'm concerned about shot hitting the end of the tube. Any field experience on if shooters are getting strikes on the end of their tube with similar set ups?
mike cyrwus
no issues, you wont hit it
asr1
I agree with what Mike mentioned above. You might have to spend extra time cleaning the burnt powder of the tube if you dont like the dis coloring. I think that's about it.
roxymajor
I've shot an 18.5" barrel with a 10 round tube for a couple of years. No prob.
CJW
18.5" barrel, 11-round (soon to be 12-round) tube. No issues. Think of it this way—for most shotguns, something cylinder choke is going to produce a spread of about an inch per yard traveled, so that's 1/3rd inch per foot...and you are probably choking tighter than that. ttoppila
Most likely won't be a problem. Check these high speed photos of several different shotgun cartridges being fired. It takes about 20 inches before wad cup separates from shots. CJW
High Speed Ballistics Photography by Herra Kuulapaa: http://kuulapaa.com/home/highspeed/Misc.html I like those photos! Yeah, in my thumbnail math I didn't even take into account the distance before the shot even begins to open up. I figure you could easily have two feet worth of tube past your muzzle and still not have any issues.
asr1
ttoppila thank you very much for the link very interesting. I never seen this in the past.

IHMSA15151
My tube extends 5" beyond the barrel and other than a bit of powder residue, no issues.

TonytheTiger
You guys got it all wrong! The 1/8 inch thick carbon coating on the tube makes it look bad ass. No need to clean it at all.
