Skywalker
Cullen, thanks a lot for posting. It's a greatly informative video that I'll share with my friends. It'll surely help to understand the basics of 1911 functioning.
froglegs
I get a warm fuzzy feelin watchin that video Why there's not 9000 replies or viewings I'll never understand... that is right up there with sliced bread and beer! This is good for at least an hour worth of entertainment at least for me. Why isn't this one of the avatar settings anyway

SiG Lady
"Why the hell didn't you post it?!?!?!" Because, in all your collective amounts of expertise, I thought you'd all find it too fundamental, then give me a hard time for being 'way behind' in 1911 theory. Flexmoney
Somebody should show the "how it WORKS" animation to some of the 1911 makers. (Don't mind me...just a little Glock humor.)
SiG Lady
"Glock humor"... is that some kind of oxymoron...?

kbear38S
Get it from the source. The full control version allows the user to selective show or hide various components. The regular version and screensaver go through cycles showing and hiding different parts of the gun. You can see all the internal components work as the 1911 goes though a firing sequence. http://www.stiguns.com/idx.html?downloads.html
TMC
What happend to the interactive version? STI only has the screen saver which doesn't have the buttons to hide or show parts of the gun.
mcoliver
Hmmm...now the link doesn't work anymore. They probably got too many visits.
