Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I get a warm fuzzy feelin watchin that video Why there's not 9000 replies or viewings I'll never understand... that is right up there with sliced bread and beer! This is good for at least an hour worth of entertainment at least for me. Why isn't this one of the avatar settings anyway
  2. Just picked up a copy for a woppin $9 bucks, tons of good info... a must for anyone who shoots! A great addition to the Gun Digest Book of THE 1911 by PATRICK SWEENEY.
  3. Is this in stores now? where did you get it? does it have a display until whatever date?

    45 acp

Bullseye is great, good feel. also WST- very clean and soft feel. Experimeting with Power Pistol very much like Bullseye 200 grain bullets seem to always rise to the top for me mostly lead versions also tried different jacketed hollow points and SWC they all seem to be great! What is it with 200 gr bullets? why do the work so good in the 45, isn't that what the 45 was originally designed for anyways?
  5. Women are like telephones... They love to be talked to, they love to be held, But if you push the wrong button... You're Disconnected!
  6. As far as factory ammo goes I like magtec 230 rn makes major and feels much better than winchester and Natches shooters supply has the best price I've found
  7. As fast as you can have FUN doing it
  8. The gun digest book of the 1911 ISBN 0-87349-281-1 $27.95 lots of good info maybe not complete but worth the money for 1911 people.
  9. Kimber 45, makes major on any day and the occasional box of federal 230 grain hydra-skoks and a 12# progressive sprinco and wilson skok buff last at least 2000 rnds it would probably run twice as long but there cheap to replace.
  10. Kimber 45 has served me well. This is my choice for carry as well as uspsa L-10. I'd use it for limited and open just to mix things up!

    Zen this!

short_round has the answer to my Aug 28th post
  12. I went from the cheapy foam to the peltor 6s. It was nice for a while but the electronic stuff doesn't have the noise reduction of the foam sqishies and now I pay the price with some hearing loss. I'm with kimel use the foam and the electronic muffs this works pretty good and hey! you only have one ear., well most have two.. you get the idea
  13. I have worked in the service tech position at a fireplace shop for about seven + years and I would love for any of the above people go with me for a day. Might have another angle to view this frustrating problem from. As far as comcast I had a different experience. Best wishes
  14. Marc C showed me this and I do it all the time now. went shooting many times and never had a problem over the years I just learned of this a year ago and now I can't understand why everyone doesn't do this. I see people just JAM the gun it the holster and not even think twice OUCH that's goin to leave a mark!!! This should be one of the fundamentals
