hercster
My Tanfo love. Upgraded Limited Pro with almost all Xreme parts, Limited Custom Xtreme.. What *thumb rest [generic]* is that on your Limited? That's an RHT. The drilling wasn't right for Tanfo spacing so I enlarged the holes somewhat to get it to fit reasonable well. I put a felt pad on it to bring the surface back a bit.

kneelingatlas
Looks good Kyal, V8 Gold Team? What effect would you describe when you drilled the holes in the side of the comp?
habba8
10mm Hunter set up for 38 super,,, did I read that correctly? No extraction issues?
gennaro
KyalSharpe: Great looking gun. That appears to be an original older V8 Gold Custom Open Tanfoglio. Even though the compensator is shiny , it looks to be the original compensator that came on the gun also. Other than the magwell and grips , did you build the gun using a few parts from other Gold Custom Tanfoglios, or is it an all original V8 ? Best Regards. Open1215
No issues at all. I dropped in a factory 6in 38 super barrel I have waiting to be threaded for my lim pro. Works fine with factory ammo. I didn't try it with rimless but regular super did great. :-) it's a blast to shoot too!!!

Sorry it isnt clean, just got back from the range when the photo was taken. great looking tanfo Kyal. I do like the clean look you get without a right side safety too. I'm curious about the comp as well. does it have the extra hole in the top as well (in the middle)? I know eric graufel said he used to run with the holes in the side but couldn't notice any difference with or without them, but I've often thought about trying it for myself. Sure is, that is how it came when I purchased it and in all honesty it really doesnt make much difference vs a standard comp.

Correct, compensator is actually polished but like I said it is dirty so it only looks shiny It is an orignal v8, however I am currently in the process of swaping out parts with a lot of henning gear. I also prefer the single sided safety, it does indeed have an extra hole in the top of the comp

RRredbones
My new toy, just picked up a Hunter frame from the Classifieds (Thanks Open1215), put my Match .40 upper on it, put on a Henning magwell and cut down the stock grips.

Open1215
That's fantastic! I can't wait to see it Me either! I've been waiting a loooong time for this! I will sadly be without a pistol the entire time it's at canyoncreek but I'll have plenty spare time for load development. I'll probably have 25 rounds with 5 diff powders in a few grain increments ready for a range trip the day it comes back.
Open1215
Speaking of load development. What are you gold team guys loading. I will be using starline supercomp brass, CCI #400 SRP, and a 124g Xtreme hp. Powder options. Hs-6,Hs-7, 3n38, autocomp, acc #7 starting points or ball parks with any of them would be Awesome. I do have about 20-30 115s to try out as well.
