Mag44579
hey there ladies and gents.... Question regarding frame mod for a production pistol. Some time ago, I thought I read in Front Sight that USPSA allows the modification of the frame (relief cut on trigger guard) to relieve frame rub on my shooting hands middle finger. Since I don't have any of my older magazines available, can anybody confirm or deny this?
sperman
You don't need back issues of Front Sight, just the current rulebook. Not legal for USPSA production division. This is from the list of prohibited modifications: 22.2 Grips – any addition or removal of material which changes the factory profile or adds function such as beavertail or thumb rest. Sarge
I'll deny it for you. Not in Production per SPERMan's post.
atbarr
When I first started shooting Glocks, the trigger guard hurt my finger also. The pain will go away.
steel1212
It WILL mold your finger to its liking.
JAFO
You can't mod the frame, but you can always add tape to your finger.
Moltke
A band aid is great too, and adds a little cushion on your knuckle.
GrumpyOne
Better than a band aid or tape on the finger is to dump the Glock....As a Doctor once told me, if it hurts when you do that, don't do that...
Craig N
Compacts rub me the wrong way but Full Size frames don't. We undercut my carry gun when I got it stippled.
Shadyscott999
The right side of the trigger guard on my Stock2 is like a razor. Athletic tape for the win.
