chevyoneton
Are we there yet? Does Daddy need to pull over so you can pee? And I vote old school on the grenade, potato masher!
Butch10
Should I be practicing with a pineapple or baseball grenade? Round style or baseball shaped however you want to look at it.
Butch10
Okay, I see that we have a couple of votes to shoot 4,4 and 1 for number of stages per day. We are taking a hard look at the shooting schedule right now to see what is most beneficial. We initially planned on shooting 3,3,3 but as you know that will have us finishing up late in the afternoon on Sunday. If we switch to the 4,4,1 schedule it will have squads/shooters shooting late into the afternoon on Friday and Saturday. Prob. starting their last stage at around 5:30 pm and finishing up around 6:45 or 7 pm. We are struggling with this right now on whether we have folks shoot late and leave early or finish a little early each day and leave sunday evening. What are your thoughts and wishes with regards to this?
bubbadocc
I'm facing a 6 hour drive on Sunday to go home.......4, 4 and 1 sounds good to me
GM2B
Every persons situation is different. I signed up under certain circumstances. Changing the match to 441 means I cannot complete the match.
El Guapo
As an RO, I prefer 4-4-1.
Headworked
I'm also looking at a 10 hour drive, and workin on Monday, so earlier we can scoot on Sunday the better
TXHK
Another vote for 4-4-1, got a long drive back to Texas
sono
4-3-2 and others 3-4-2 I dislike showing up for one stage. I vote start as soon light permits so we don't run out of light. I'm just happy to be there so whatever the majority wants. Yes dad pull over! I always have to pee when they say I'm on deck!
Bryan 45
I vote for whatever schedule ensures we get to shoot all the stages, and in daylight. I haven't looked at sun up/ sun down times and I don't know the chance of fog in the morning, but I want to maximize my 240 seconds of glory on all the stages. Who Knew
I like the 4-3-2 or 3-4-2. Next vote would be 4-4-1.

sjs
I'm with Bryan. Whatever is the best for the majority of shooters to have the best opportunity to shoot. Too much invested to think about getting out early which may compromise shooting.
238shooter
13 hour drive to and from so I would suggest: 3 stages on day one to welcome shooters and get things started as the first day needs introductions and getting new shooters comfortable with facility. 4 stages day two so we need to be on the range early since not needing a meeting or introduction. 2 stages day three and start early like day 2 to wrap things up at a decent time to get on the road to start the 13hrs of analyzing all the mistakes..... Finbox
You can drive in the dark...you can't shoot in the dark. Schedule it so shooting the match competitively/fair is Paramount, not travel plans. Edited February 28, 2014 by Finbox
stephen1776
My vote is for 4,4,1. 3,3,3 makes for a long last day. 3 stages, scoring, presentations, prize tables, then a 6.5 hour drive home.
stephen1776
3,4,2 could be good also. But its a bad ass match no matter how you break it up.
Nickoli
I like the sounds of a 3, 4, 2 match. But what ever is picked, will work. I'm just happy to shoot honestly.
