2014 Indiana USPSA Championship

Awesome stages, even with the censored names. :)

yes a few of the stage names were changed to protect the those that are more sensitive than others

402 Rounds, plus chrono!!

18 stages

$125

centrally located and easy to get to, 30 minutes from an airport and 20 minutes from a major city

lots of food place, booze places, party places, things to go and do places

I think we are sitting at almost 330 registered competitors right now

with only 3 slots for Saturday/Sunday left

and only 85 slots for Friday/Saturday

Friday/Saturday squads start 12:00 on Friday and finish at 1:00 on Saturday

(staff will be shooting Thursday/Friday AM so the range will be open to see the stages)

Today is the last day I am taking orders for the TechWear $40 match shirts

All the guns are being built with parts donated from our sponsors Phoenix Trinity, Nowlin Arms, and EGW

Nationals & Area 2 are the only matches that compares to Indiana, an absolute must to go to, $125.00 with custom firearms giveaway & 402 rounds - hats off to Jake & crew for the best Sectional match in the Country.

Jake,

on the scoring description for stage 9 you have 16 rounds and 16 targets with 2 rounds per. no biggie I think we can all figure it out, but think it should read 32 rounds. just wanted to bring it to your attention

The written stage briefing that will be given during the match will be the correct.

steel will be used to activate all moving targets

We are just 1 month away from the start of the match!!
18 stages have been posted, sponsors have giving very generously, and the range crew is putting final touches on the range getting ready for us to start building stages very soon.

There are less than 70 slots left for the match and there is still time to get in on these!!

Raffle tickets will be available for sale at the range during the match

You do not need to be present to win

(meaning that you can have someone purchase tickets there for you)

But we are not able to run an online raffle for this

(lots of red tape, tax issues that go along with that)

Really looking forward to this match. Jake puts on an outstanding match every year and the crew at Silvercreek (Dave B., Lee L., etc.) are top notch!

If you haven't signed up, get on it!!! This will be a great match!!

Final planning stages of the match going on, ordering targets, counting wall sections and fault lines etc..

We have had a few RO's due to scheduling conflicts unfortunately have to drop out of the match.

So I am looking for 4 +/- RO's (certified) that want to work the match

Since Nationals and World Shoot follow this match www.mannyusa.com will be extremely busy, so I am going to place the order for the plaques on Aug 25th.
THAT MEANS THAT I AM CUTTING OFF MOVING DIVISIONS ON AUG 25TH.

Trophy only Match:

Recognizing by Division: (Must have 10 competitors to recognize a Division)
High Overall – 10 to 24 competitors in the division
2nd Overall - 25 to 49 competitors in the division
3rd Overall - 50 to 74 competitors in the division
4th Overall - more than 75 competitors in the division

Recognizing by Classification: (Division Status must be met)
•First in Class: GM through D (Each class with a minimum of 5 shooters)
•Second in Class: GM through D (Each class with a minimum of 10 competitors)
•Third in Class: GM through D (Each class with a minimum of 15 competitors)

Recognizing by Category: (Division Status must be met, must have a minimum of 5 per Category)
•High Lady
•High Super Senior

Must be current legal resident of Indiana, Division status must be met (minimum of 10 competitors in the Division)

Thursday September 11th
Range is close to staff

Friday September 12th
Registration opens at 10:00am till 7:00pm (range closes at 7:00pm)
Staff Shooting till 11:00
Lunch from 11:00-12:00
Shooters Meeting for Friday PM/Saturday AM Squads at 12:00 in front of Bay 6
Friday PM/Saturday AM Squad report to their first stage, shooting starts at 12:30
(Squads will complete 8 bays on Friday)

Saturday September 13th
Fri/Sat Squads report to first stage on their 2nd day of competition, shooting starts at 7:45am
(Squads will complete remaining 7 bays)
Lunch is scheduled from 1:00-2:00
Shooters Meeting for Saturday PM/Sunday AM Squads at 1:30 in front of Bay 6
Saturday PM/Sunday AM report to their first stage, shooting starts at 2:00pm
(Squads will complete 6 bays)

Sunday September 14th
Sat/Sun Squads report to first stage on their 2nd day of competition, shooting starts at 8:00am
(Squads will complete the remaining 9 bays)

Rich Dettelhouser from Canyon Creek has donated his labor and built the single stack you see here as one of the raffle guns for the upcoming Indiana USPSA Championship.
It is a 45acp built on an STI frame with a Caspain slide
Nowlin Arms donated the barrel and some small parts
EGW donated additional parts for the build.

Raffle tickets will be on sale at the range...
