My IDPA/Production match load is 4.1 grains of 320 and Federal small pistol primers with a stock bbl in my M&P 5" Pro. I don't remember the OAL off the top of my head.

I've run thousands of them through two open guns with no problems at all.

9.3gr SP2

Zero 125gr JHP

Starline .38SuperComp

Win 38Super

Win SR primers

172pf.

The only time I've had problems with this load is when I'd switched to Wolf SR primers. I've had a 15% to 20% won't go bang failure rate with Wolf primers. One side benefit is that I've gotten extremely fast about clearing the bad round.

Wow when I saw the title I thought you just wanted to know who bought them all up.

Ok the short story on powder is N320 for minor about 4.0gr +-. Second on the list would be WST @4.5-4.7gr. (these loads based on OAL of 1.145 or longer with SPP @ 130pf). Your gun might not eat that length.

AA#5, 231, and BullsEye are also fast powders, save the others for you open gun.

i Use 125 Zero with great results in my STI Trubor

7.8 Grains of n 350

Ok, I'll agree N350 is good in 38S in the right system, however, my initial testing in 9 major lead me to other powders. My question for you is which other powders have you tried in 9 major and how did they compare to N350?

Since it has been a couple years since my initial testing I spent a whole day loading up test rounds of all sorts of powder in 9 major, just have not had a chance to take the crono out and shoot them.

I'm also doing this with 115gr and 125gr. But I would appreciate your feed back on comparing N350 to others you tried and a brief description of the comp and gun features. I have a bunch of N350 trying to decided to sell or burn it.

As mentioned by everyone else; I love to shoot them when I can find them.

In my Viper open, I run the following:

Zero 125gr JHP

Starline .38sc

8.2gr VV N350

WSR primers

1.230 AOL

I have a post on here looking to see if it is a big deal to switch to Montana Gold. Zeros have always been tough to find.
