Magnus DUX
Jerry Miculek suggests to position his brake to 1 o`clock as AR15 recoils that way. What`s your take on that? Do you center your muzzle brakes or put them at 1 o`clock position ?

Bear1142
It depends upon the comp. Some comps are designed to be "clocked" to allow the shooter to dial-in his comp for his particular shooting style, others are designed to run centered up. Most comps are 12 o'clock, centered up designs, but Miculek's is one of the ones that can be effectively angled for the individual shooter. dmshozer1
Don't laugh,is the top of the comp turned to 1:00 or the right side ports turned to 1:00 for a right hand shooter? I have tried both ways with a rolling thunder with no effect but I have to say it shoots very flat for me in the neutral position.
Corey
I've got my SJC setup right at 12:00. Seems to work quite well.

mcattack
I am using a Miculek comp so what is a 1:00 the vent holes or the top strap of the comp. I would like to try it out and see if I can tell a difference. Right now I feel a little push to the right.
Magnus DUX
I use Miculek comps and run them at the 1 o'clock. Have you tried putting it at 12 o`clock? If yes, any difference?
mcattack
Its at 12 clock now I guess the vent holes are side out and the strap is top. I did not know you could clock a comp any other way but 12 till this post.
bpipe95
mine is around 12:30 maybe 12:45... I tried a few spots and this seemed to work well. but I am not running a 3 gun specific muzzle device either.
