How do you position your muzzle break on AR15?

It depends upon the comp. Some comps are designed to be "clocked" to allow the shooter to dial-in his comp for his particular shooting style, others are designed to run centered up.

Most comps are 12 o'clock, centered up designs, but Miculek's is one of the ones that can be effectively angled for the individual shooter.

Don't laugh,is the top of the comp turned to 1:00 or the right side ports turned to 1:00

for a right hand shooter?

I have tried both ways with a rolling thunder with no effect but I have to say it shoots

very flat for me in the neutral position.

The top of the comp would be a the 1 o'clock position.
