And most of the time they do and most of the time that's necessary or every message would end up with a whole lot of extraneous stuff that everyone knows. For example, it took me a while to figure out what a S_I pistol was. I knew about STI but it wasn't until I heard of SVI that I caught on, these were both types of 2011 pistols.
