  1. Oh, well it wasn’t limcat that told me that… just some friends that I was talking to when we were discussing 9major and how some of the gun companies thought pf was too high and they mentioned that even infinity doesn’t make a 9major gun unless you beg them really nicely. I still don’t think I could mentally handle the wait times for an infinity . I do think it’s cool that they do 9major tho. Maybe in a few years when my limcats get clapped out I can order a couple infinity ones and run the limcats until they come in
  2. It’s amazing that so many people have had problems with this dot. I have one coming on my limcat and I’m now beginning to question my decision on getting that one. I see so many people running them though…
  3. I did not know that. That’s another one of the reasons I went with limcat was because I was told they would only make 9 major if you begged for it.
  4. We went so far as to cut up old political signs into small strips and staple them to the back of the heads to keep them from drooping. Either way it sucks shooting in the rain. I shot the bama sectional earlier this year and it rained on and off all that Friday. I shot two stages without bags on them out of ten
  5. All I’ve ever used for my open gun is precision Delta 124jhp v1 I’ve loaded over 15 thousand of these in the last year and had no issues with feeding. They are extremely consistent in weight and diameter. Boringly consistent almost. I cannot recommend the v1 124 jhp enough. The profile allows to load long for my open gun at 1.170
  6. For us after some steady rain they were getting droopy. Perhaps We had a bad batch or something But they just didn’t work out for us. I doubt I’ll ever buy them again. Plastic bags do suck to shoot with them on but
  7. With that said the precision delta is the best factory ammo I’ve ever purchased. If I didn’t reload it’s what I would buy
  8. I had a factory pin get chewed up some but didn’t quite break It was before I knew better On a cz p07. I bought one of the cgw upgrade kits and when I was changing out the pin I saw the damage that I had done to it in dry fire.
  9. I’ve done my own chrono on it before but never had them done at a major. The 147s came in at 139 pf on my chrono with a glock 17.
  10. We’ve used those so called waterproof targets before. They’re not as waterproof as most would assume.
  11. I’ve never used them myself but we have a level 2 coming up that has been plagued by rain in the past. The dry cleaners bags are a pain in the ass. 20x48 would seem like the way to go for double hung targets but I’d like to hear others opinions on the uline bags and what thickness would be best.
  12. I told you the other day I’m the MD of magnolia practical shooters. I’m also the MD for the Mississippi classic (a level 2) that’s held at magnolia. Troy McManus is my RM for the classic. not sure what the issue is here. Go and look it up on uspsa. My phone number is on there and your welcome to give me a call to verify.
  13. Okay. That makes more sense then I other answers I was given. Thank you.
  14. What are you talking about? Go and look up the “limcat custom and precision delta Mississippi classic” and tell me who the MD is. Did I do something to you?
  15. Oh I’m sure they will be. But it won’t stop them from trying to purchase skill.
  16. In the magazine? More context please.
  17. Not sure if you can get 2011s in Italy or not but nothing beats a tuned up 2011 in 9mm Especially if you can put a red dot on it. If not then the sp01 is a great option.
  18. Any idea what causes it? I’ve shot a lot of 22 over the years and never had that happen.
  19. From my limited experience (only one year and a few months) as an MD. Don’t worry about people that bitch about your match. Run it as you see fit. There will always be one person who bitches and moans about something no matter what. Don’t let that discourage you or make you do something different. Criticism is fine and I welcome it and all MDs should but some folks will just always find something to complain about and never offer a solution or a helping hand.
  20. At the major I host we change targets twice a day at the least. If more is needed for proper scoring we will just shut down the stage for a moment and change them real quick. Usually for a two an a half day match we will change targets 4-5 times at the least Sometimes more.
  21. I’ve heard of this happening but with the Cajun gun works parts they say you can dry fire and not have an issue with the roll pin or firing pin being damaged. I still put a snap cap in the chamber when dry firing just for some added security however.
  22. You could take a dremel to the grips and smooth off the checkering to get a flatter surface to allow the grip tape to stick better. Or just epoxy them with some fine grit silicone carbide
