  1. Anybody know the expiration date of the discount code? I usually put a couple of orders in rather than one large one. Thanks
  2. Hey, look at that!!! Four years to get to fifty posts. That's got to be a record!

    HK parts

I know that the night sights between the two are not interchangable. The USP has a deeper dovetail for the rear sight and the front is narrower. As far as the internals, some parts are interchangable and some are not. The H&K's have quite a few internal parts and are not all that easy to modify (Unless you are just changing variants). One place that might have parts is HKpartsonline. I haven't checked their website in a while so I am not sure as to what they may have. Edited for spelling
  4. I am sure you could sell it for that quite easily. Regular price for a used 686 4 inch in this area (Tucson, AZ) is mid fives in the gunshops. Post pictures of it on the board here and I am sure it would sell just as quickly.
  5. I like this! No winning your class and still placing in the top three of the next higher class.
  6. I have 45,0000 of pistol and rifle primers on the way. Should be set for the rest of month
  7. Wideners is currently showing Wolf primers in stock. Get your orders in now as they do not accept backorders.
  8. I've used quite a bit of the Wolf small rifle primers with no issues at all. I put together some test .223 rounds with the only difference being a winchester primer and wolf primer. The wolf primers produced a considerable decrease in the standard deviation (don't have the numbers with me). I hope they get a large shipment in, as I have about 20K of rifle and pistol primers on backorder.
  9. I would second the vote for Phoenix. If you can make it around the first week of December, you could easily spend two days at the Small Arms Review gun show during the weekend and hit all the local shops during the week. And as the a previous poster said. If you can make it further east, the Knob Creek Machine gun shoots are outstanding.
  10. Just out of curiosity, what are the issues with the Socoms? Is it just not suitable for three gun? Or are there mechanical issues with it? Thanks, Marc
  11. 2 650's 1 550 2 Rockchuckers 2 MEC's in 12Ga Now all I need is a bigger reloading room
  12. I wish I could come up with stuff this good!
  13. I believe the round count is 230. Not sure on the number of stages. I think it was 11 last year. Steve does not put the diagrams online. You get the match book in your registaration packet. The range will be open till 5:30 or 6:00 PM on friday. You should be able to look at the stages then.
  14. It's a crisp 23 degrees F on the way to work this morning. Should be in the low 60's this afternoon though
  15. Hey!!! That kind of looks like the last three stages of the Western States Single Stack Match last year!
  16. Another idea is to take the spring and follower out of the mag, heat the baseplate with a propane torch and then let it cool....that should soften it up enough that a drill will have no problem getting started. I'm pretty sure, you can't anneal the nickel plating. I think it will just flake off if it's heated too much.
  17. After dulling or breaking several drill bits, I ended up using a dremel tool with a small ball end rotary file to grind a small divot through the plating. after doing this, I was easily able to use the drill bit to finish the holes. Hope this helps.
  18. That ought to be worth the price of admission!
  19. Quitting is such an ugly word. I usually just put them down for a while.
