Which gas block?

Got to play with one at NRA annual meeting, real clear glass I would say as good as Kahles or Swarwski.

Did anyone try to get in using a Iphone besides me? I kept tapping summit and nothing was happening for about 3 long seconds.

I have one and wish I had it a year ago. Flat bottom makes A Big difference. All those round ones are worthless shooting off barakids. 2 years from now everyone will be using flat bottom handguards.

I shot Browning gold for years and got new A5 last feb and shot it all season. 26" barrel with extension to end of barrel. Not finiky like the gold. So what I had to do was grind extractor just a little to get a little more hook and unlike the gold need to keep real strong spring in mag extension especially with long extension.When you end up shooting 26 rd shotgun stage from hell you will be real happy you have 100% bottom feeder.

At a side match at Rockcastle I shot my AR with Vortex and then JP AR with Swaro . One of the targets was in valley and it was cloudy.There was a big difference in clarity with Swaro being better.

Dry firing is like watching paint dry so I have played with lazers in pistols for years.With 3 gun rifle is my weakest point so I have started looking at drop in lazers for ARs. There is laserlytes drop in laser,drops in like a cartridge, about 100 bucks, no adjustment, and single shot then need to rack bolt. then there is next level training sirt AR bolt laser, 200 bucks with green laser and a shot each time trigger pulled and is adjustable. Anyone have experience with either? Thanks

For 39 bucks and free shipping I thought I would give it a try. Once in it would not lock bolt back with 3 different mags no matter what gas setting,and more impulse(not much) than the MGI rate reducing buffer I had been using so I took it out and put MGI in. This is in Rock River DEA model 16 inch with adj gas Young lite bolt carrier and Seekins comp

The guy who won Rockcastle and FNH this year was using the new Browning. I have had one since Feb, it runs great.Its fun to shoot against other shotguns especially large rd count shotgun stages.

ROs only shot 6 of 8 stages today before dark,going to be real long day tommorow

Where does the $100 go? To the clubs general fund? Since the club does not support 3gunners much( look at the 100yd plate rack),why not give 3gun shooters a break on match fees until and if we get more back from the club

The red dot turns into a light brown color in bright sunlight, about the same color as a IPSC target. Every scope company should have guarentee like Bushnells.

I tried 23.2 N133 and had primers falling out. Good results with 26.0 N140 esp 200 & 300 yds. Blaster

So of the 1oz and the 7/8 oz which seems to be more kick or more likely to work?

Fiocchi makes 2 3/4 7/8oz 1300fps Reduced recoil slugs and 2 3/4 1oz 1150fps low recoil slugs.I got box of reduced recoil slugs from Midway and they ran fine so I got 10 boxes from Grafs and they do not cycle shotgun every time.Any one know it low recoil slugs work better than reduced recoil?Thanks

So I got a Browning 2012 A5 26" barrel . Recoil system looks just Benelli. Browning gold mag ext fits A5. Shot abox of field loads in Remington Winchester and Federal with mag ext on ran fine. Will not cycle Fiocchi 2 3/4 7/8 oz reduced recoil slugs consistently,unfortunately because they are dead on at 50yds Blaster

The big question is how it will run and function with a mag ext.Browning Gold works fine without one but needs to be super tuned and ammo sensitive with mag ext. Cabelas will buy back less 30%.

They are both around the same price, Cabelas has A5s in stock and no sales tax until end of year.A5s have 100,000 rd guarantee and are self loading.VeraMax have been around a year with good track record.I have shot VersaMax and handles fine.Anyone have a Browning A5?
